Delicious! When I hear sugar and gluten free I tend to be suspicious on taste. Well they nailed it. I wish I could say more great things. I hope they find their way into stores near Philly soon. Got some at the Wayne county fair and would love to have more. Side note, patient and friendly staff. 100% would buy again.

Purchased rice pudding at tomato festival, not the best I've had the rice was mushy texture and made it not edible.

After over 10 years of purchasing rice pudding from this business, I will never be buying from Down Home again. As I do every year around the holidays, in December of 2017 I purchased two 5 gallon containers of pudding and found the consistency of each container to be awful. It was not creamy but instead was similar to the consistency of glue. Only after multiple phone calls (some of which I was told the owner would call me back but never did) was I able to speak to the owner to tell her about my experience. While she did indicate that she would replace only one of the containers I purchased, her general demeanor was unapologetic and curt. Don't go to Down Home expecting anything but sub par product and service.. So much for great rice pudding and exceptional customer service! Too bad the original owners sold this place.. They and their product were the best!
