“Had this place for few days. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Easy front desk service for more towels 24/7. No issues with room keys. Friendly staff. Very decent and typical breakfast spread, Room was great, easy access to TV for hdmi use, desk and chair, decent lamps. Big negative is the lack of outlets, at least functional ones, near or no wall outlets and must use lamp outlets. Layout is pretty chaotic, difficult finding your way around. Parking is easy, plenty of spots. Lovely lobby. Wawa across street. Outdoor pool available during typical times. Pet friendly. Good for groups, parties, or hookups.Rooms: Well maintained rooms, clean beds, bathroom, towels.Nearby activities: Wawa, shopping, the usual things.Safety: Fire signs clearly posted. Plentiful stairsWalkability: Place is a bit of a maze and can be confusing when wandering around. Some side entrys don't have card accessFood & drinks: Pretty decent breakfast and bar. Vending machines each floor if they work.Noteworthy details: Back entry has card access, ice only on third floor. Laundry on main floor.”

“My husband and I had an amazing first-time-throwing experience at Angry Jack's in Phoenixville. Jacob was our enthusiastic and energetic (and very patient!) coach who refined our techniques, and by the end of the session, we'd landed simultaneous bullseyes! 10 out of 10 experience; we'll be back again for archery!”

“Went to a birthday party there It was a nice place and had some historical touches to it as well that made it unique and not a cookie cutter building like most places seem to be these days”

“Very encouraging, warm, friendly, God honoring church. Great worship. Incorporates biblical teaching in a creative multisensory dynamic that welcomes and reaches people of all walks and variety of gifting. They serve the community through multiple self started non-profits as a way to bring hope, healing and life. So thankful for this church.”

“My husband and I had our wedding at Loch Aerie on 9.9.23 and it was a dream come true! The mansion was wonderfully renovated but the team did an incredible job upholding the unique and historical details the mansion has to offer. By doing so our vision came to light: a romantic and timeless wedding night. The team did a great job answering questions in a timely manner and ensured a smooth & fun time. Serock catering was incredible and their entire team also did a great job accommodating our requests and ensuring a great timeline! We can't recommend this venue enough!”

“The venue itself was nothing short of amazing, providing a picturesque backdrop for our special day. Rich in history, our guests were blown away by the uniqueness of this hidden gem. Cait, the venue manager at Historic Yellow Springs, played such a pivotal role in making our wedding unforgettable. Her assistance and guidance were invaluable at every stage of the process. She was always ready and willing to answer any questions we had along the planning process, which helped keep everything so stress-free. Cait's expertise and dedication really enhanced the overall experience, and we are grateful for her support in creating a truly memorable day at Historic Yellow Springs.”

“The service is great, drinks are top notch, food is incredibly tasty and it really pretty inside. We had the back room and was much quieter than the main room which we liked. But a little chilly, bring a sweater! It’s AC season.”

“My first time doing it and,... loved it, just need more practice lolOn top of the fun, their wall of tap beers show a wide range of nice beers, making this place just the perfect spot for a Friday evening hang out.”

“Special dining events at Platform 1 have made this one of the best places currently in Phoenixville for fine dining. From more accessible events like their post-St. Patrick's Day hangover brunch or their Harry Potter tea parties to fancier things like their recent French country dinner with wine pairings, the food is top notch. A great place to try something new, and with their own dedicated parking it couldn't be easier to visit.”

“I come here every year for Anahata’s Purpose, which is not directly affiliated with the camp. It is a beautiful property that feels deeply connected to spirit. The cabins are not climate controlled, and the beds are not comfortable for adult-sized bodies BUT that has become part of the experience of the camp. It is a special place that I look forward to return to each fall.”

“This Black Owned/ Woman Owned business is where you should book your next event. I had a surprise hibachi dinner party at Space By Styled. This event space is so cute. I love that the owner (Ms. McCollum) offers decorative services as well. I checked out her IG and saw all the ideas she has put together. If your in the area check her out”

“My best friend got married here and it was absolutely beautiful! The bridal room was nice and spacious. The grooms room was cozy and a great place to hang out. All of the little rooms were so historic and beautiful. The events coordinator really transformed the space. They got married in the ruins, which minus the bugs, it was beautiful even on a rainy misty day. Really beautiful place!”

“The Kimberton Inn is my go-to place for dining in Phoenixville. Usually greeted at the entrance by Oliver, the vocalizing cat. The owner, Jeff, is a highly professional, no nonsense guy who oversees a highly professional very friendly staff. Excellent wine list, although a little pricey....pretty much like wine lists all across the country. Wonderful bar with friendly and efficient bartender. Wide variety of entrees.....have never had a bad one. But, thankfully, they offer a hamburger with fries or salad...my standard Always recommend as the best restaurant in the area!”

“My friend and I went for a walk. Part of the path is under shade and the other part is sunny. Part of the path has some incline, which was a little harder for my friend who was using a cane, but we did like that the path was not all cement but gravel which is easier on her knees. Beautiful area for a picnic and they do have a grill and area to sit plus a community garden to admire. The best thing is it wasn't crowded at all!”

“We used The Farmhouse at Peoples light for our September wedding, and they went above and beyond. Not only was food delicious, but they exceeded my expectations for my day. They went above and beyond with setting up any décor I provided, as well as adding additional touches like votive candles, etc.Richard and Dawn were very warm and inviting throughout the entire planning process, and open to answering any questions I may have had. After our day came and went, Dawn and Richard provided us with a personal touch gift drawing of the restaurant to frame and hang up. So thoughtful. Our day went off without any problems, and they were very accommodating in regards to weather changes and options as well.I would recommend using them for your wedding venue.”

“Attended a group event with coworkers and laughed the entire time. It was a fun and interactive experience. Art and Pat played off all of our individual personalities so well. The meals we prepared together turned out great and I look forward to replicating them again very soon. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and educational dining experience!”

“My fiancé and I LOVE The Desmond. The facility is very well kept, the ballroom is spacious and well staffed, the restaurant serves elevated American cuisine with craft cocktails. There’s also a classic Irish pub that serves comfort food done well with local draft beers, a diverse list of spirits and both venues offer excellent service, wine list featuring old and new world wines while dining in comfort.I worked here as a teenager and have never stopped going. This is where we go to stay and eat for most special occasions. I highly recommend brunch, dinner, Happy Hour and the deck when weather heats up. Colleen and Mike Chain are 1st class operators who treat your like family. Follow them on Instagram to get the inside information on great package deals with room and dinner as as well as holiday promotions. 1st class!”

“I haven't seen smoking bars since pre COVID but walking into this place for the first time to see a metal show and seeing I could have a drink and smoke a cigarette while watching the Phil's between bands was one of my highlights of this past year. Long live the Polish club ??????”

“It's been a LONG time since I've gone to a more "fancy" restaurant and had no complaints, but this one delivered! I ordered the Grilled Grouper with prosciutto which was draped atop a hefty serving of rich asparagus risotto and a dainty amount of sweet orange sauce. I absolutely destroyed the entire meal (although I only had one spoonful of the decadent rice, since I'm currently keto) it was so amazing. My date got the Seared Ahi Tuna, which came with zucchini noodles (I probably should have got this low carb, high protein meal in retrospect ^^; ) and a sweet, yet more complex General Tso-type sauce/glaze. We were both completely fulfilled by the end of the meal, not just by the food but the relaxed, repurposed brick house atmosphere and attentive, friendly (and ridiculously beautiful??) waitress. They even had a full gluten-free menu, so I am definitely going to return!”

“Staff gets 5 stars especially our man Chris and our girl assistant GM Jacqueline! Entire staff is super friendly, professional and polite including the housekeepers.. They all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and special. Jacqueline is a super sweet lady who keeps her word,, I'm glad we met her. But the star of the hotel is a fine young gentleman named Chris. His parents raised a fine young gentleman who must be very proud of him. Super nice guy, always upbeat and friendly, courteous and polite, professional, knowledgeable and patient as all heck! Smiling big thinking about his patience! Treated us with such respect. He explained things thoroughly.. And no matter how many times we bothered him, he never wavered.. He was just as polite, friendly, courteous and respectful as he always was. Chris is absolutely an asset and definitely a keeper... Any company would be lucky to have Chris as a part of their team. Truly a remarkable young man and employee!! Thank you to all staff for making our stay a very pleasant one!!Very clean hotel too.. Rooms are veyr clean and smell so pretty when you walk in.. Very welcoming. Housekeeping does a terrific job cleaning. Beds are soft and SO comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud! Pillows too were so soft and comy and they actually fit the size of the bed, King size pillows! Great night sleep! Great location and close to major highways, shopping and restaurants. A must stay! Breakfast was very good too and Brandon from room service is also a very nice friendly guy who went out of his way to help us. Barb at the restaurant is also a super friendly woman who actually brought menus up to our room, so we didn't have to come down.. Super nice lady. Then there is the maintenance guy who took the lock off our window for us! Super nice man.. very friendly personality.. and no wait time.. We called downstairs and they literally sent him right up!This hotel definitely knows how to treat and take care of their guests. They make you feel welcomed and special. Great staff! We will definitely be back.. We look forward to it! Great pricing too.. So worth it! We highly recommend this hotel! When you stay at a not so nice hotel it really makes you miss and want to run back to a hotel like the Sheraton where you had such a great experience and stay.”
