This store is so amazing. My teen daughter wanted to try Plato's closet next door and we fell love with both stores. As a plus size women I often struggle in second hand stores but this store is so well organized. It is stuffed with merchandise and it takes time to look at everything but the ladies here work hard to keep it well organized by categories and size. So many purses and shoes and accessories. We were lucky to catch a 5 dollar bag sale so we filled that and then found some other items. My husband even found something from their Men's section. And there was a 90% off a lot of jewelry when we went.

I really like this place. From the minute you are happily greeted till you check out it is so friendly, easy and smooth, no pressure. I sold with them before too and that was also great for some extra cash. Styles are always in style and in season.I can always get my Betsy Johnson fix at a portion of the normal pricing.

Extremely disappointed with this store. I will say that the staff was friendly and they did explain their processes, which I appreciated, however I came in with three full garment bags of nice clothing (work wear, cocktail dresses, nicer sweaters) and they took none of it. I should have known when they texted me they were finished going through my items literally like 5 minutes after I left the store. They couldn’t even be bothered to zip the bags back up when they were done.I was super excited to try this store after talking to a co-worker and also after having a terrible experience at Plato’s Closet years ago, because my understanding was that Style Encore accepted fancier items and work wear. I figured it would be a perfect place to take some of my items that were too nice to take to a thrift shop and weren’t exactly new, but weren’t totally off-trend either. Some items I loved, but either didn’t fit anymore after having a baby, or the colors washed me out against my fairer complexion but would look great on someone else. They want new, on-trend things, but as another reviewer commented, who buys clothes only to turn around and sell them like that? And honestly, I look at half the trends in retail stores right now and wonder how they’re even a trend. The styles are absolutely awful. And after seeing some of the things on Style Encore’s racks, I can’t believe they didn’t accept at least some of what I had. They need to consider that some pieces aren’t going to be on trend… some pieces are just timeless… but clearly they are not that sophisticated. I read once from a style expert that your wardrobe should be 70% timeless pieces and 30% trend pieces. That rule would serve everyone well considering how the fashion industry has a waste problem. Finally, the pictures of the inside of the store that are online are extremely misleading. I was surprised to walk into a darker, crowded, rather junky-looking store. I would not go back there. Instead I am looking to donate to a worthy cause or sell on a platform such as Poshmark, where I’ve had more success.

This place is a joke! Again came by to get some items ( some are Italian brand names ) and of course none of them KIDS says hello and stand there staring at the walls. After asking the KID a few times where they want me to put my stuff, they took my information and txt me to a link to also fill out… to be told at the end to ignore the txt! Why send it???? Then told me to sign a paper saying if I don’t come back at the end of same day , they are entitled to sell my stuff. Then told me it will take 45 mts to sort it out.So, it wasn’t much but they let me leave and after I got in my car and drove off (5mts or less) , they txted me. I had other commitments so I came back before closing time. came in and again KIDS there , not a GROWNUP anywhere . Again KIDS clueless how to speak GROWNUP language, just staring blank at me and me at them because I was waiting for them to speak and let me know what it was taken or jot. I had to ask if anything had been kept , here’s the kicker: the kid was mumbling and staring at me but I couldn’t make out what she was saying. So in plain English after repeatedly saying to her HUH? So nothing was kept.. she kept repeating some lingo that seriously they need to stop using it.Just say: Ee are sorry, but at this moment we won’t be taking anything. Thank you for coming by and have a good day.None of that was said, the 3 KIDS there were just clueless how to speak to GROWN UP costumers or even have the basics of customer service which is : smile , greet the customer with hello and if they can help you.Serious this store needs to have at least a grown up there at all times bc the kids are not trained right. The managers need to step up .

My wife and I drove to Exton with 5 totes with mostly new with tags items. We knew some was off season so may not be accepted. After waiting almost 2 hours, they accepted 3 items out of roughly 200. Then they lowballed us on the price, offering $11 for 3 sweaters NWT retail price of over $120… they were also selling these same types of sweaters for $20-$40/each. They are swindling people. Never again. Stay far far away… instead yardsale, eBay, Facebook marketplace, anything just don’t go here.I would also note that we even thought about buying a few overpriced items, but they offer the same for trade or cash. We opted not to buy anything.

Save your time and gasoline! What a shock this place is! You would think that a place that sells "designer" items would have a bit of class with the employees' attire and behaviors. Upon entering the store, the nasty odor hits you in the face and the rest of the place is indescribable! I brought a brand new $350 designer handbag that was won at an event. It had the price tag still on it and was offered $28. No deal here! I would not go back on a bet!

It's okay. I will say they offer a wide category selection, however not a good selection within those categories. It's a hit or miss for me. I'd say my biggest comps is dust. DUST IS ALL OVER THE DRESSING ROOM FLOOR AND IF YOU LOOK ABOVE ON THE PIPES AND CELING DUST. THICK DUST. Unhygienic and just disgusting. Plus when you are changing the dust is getting all over your clothing. The staff is 50/50 polite and rude, which I expect since they they mostly college kids. Prices are what I expect after shopping these types of stores for a few years.

Drove an hour to p/u a designer bag that was listed on their website, called to confirm it was there before making the driveOnly one employee knew of the bag when I arrived & another girl chimed in with attitude for no reason when I simply asked for it at checkoutThe girl on register ringing me out CLEARLY needs more training and did not know what she was doing (which is sad working in a store which such expensive taste). She asked me for my money without even telling me the total, her face like she was waiting on me and I was holding her up when I was waiting on her the whole time to hear my total. She never even counted the cash I handed her, she just asked me how much and typed it in the computer. She didn’t even know to take the sensor off the bag so of course the alarm went offUnprofessional and wouldn’t go back, but everyone has their opinion
