I always liked the fit and quality of Irish Setter boots. I spent 45min in the store trying on a number of boots. The salesman Matthew was patient, knowledgeable and presented solutions. The customer service was excellent. Give the store a chance as they carry inventory, work to earn your business and honor veteran discount.

Called about a specific pair of boots. Went in to try after work. The kid behind the counter got the boots, laid the box down and then went back behind the counter (back to his cell phone). Poked his head up and ask how they felt. I tried a couple other pair after that, but it felt like I was annoying him to get the boots to try. At one point, I asked about a specific size to try and he walked to the back. He was back there awhile and I was wondering why it was taking so long. After about 5 minutes, he poked his head out and asked what I thought. I asked for the specific size again, at which time he said he didn't have them. He said he could order something in, but at that point, I didn't want to return to that store. It was unlike other Red Wing stores I've been in, where their service and attention has been much, much better.
