I use to be a daily costumer and tbh ive seen it all. the more i went i slowly just saw the store change. it use to be such a welcoming store until their good managers all went to other stores. personally im done getting animals from here, birds use to be 35 now their 40-44 , the fish i got have brought so much algae in my tank and ik what u are about to say but i asked for 15 minnows i got charged for minnows the girl tried to give me more and gave me brown goldfish the sighs r completely wrong. careful what you buy alot of them r sick and dont look too healthy.

I recently have used the grooming services twice. Once for a nail trim and the other for a full haircut, bath and nail trim. I have had a good experience with Shawn each visit. She goes over what my puppy can expect, what I can expect and listens to any concerns I have. Shawn let me know the photos I showed her for the haircut I wanted for my pup would look a little different since my puppy had slightly different fur than the dog in the photo. I appreciated her honesty and recommendations. I am giving Petco four stars because of the unnecessary fees they tack on to the services. Just add them into the price of the haircut or service you are getting. I felt nickeled and dimed when I went to pay. I will be back and I recommend asking for Shawn. She is very knowledgeable and kind.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE FOR GROOMING!!! If I could give this location zero stars, I would. This is the worst dog grooming salon that I have ever been to. I should have never taken my dog to this location for grooming. I am a Chicago resident but I am visiting family in PA, and I needed to get my 2y/o yorkipoo groomed. I scheduled a grooming appointment for March 2, and arrived a little late due to traffic on the highway, but I still arrived within the 15 minute grace period. I called the location multiple times while en route to inform the staff of my ETA, and to ask if they would still be able to accommodate me. No one answered the phone. When I arrived, a small male groomer immediately informed me that he couldn't groom my dog because I was late, even though I arrived well within the grace period, per Petco's policy. When my partner and I tried to explain this to the groomer, he rudely interrupted us, and told us that he didn't have time to discuss this with us, and he told us that we needed to leave the grooming area and find someone else to talk to about this issue. This was extremely disrespectful, and I can't help but wonder if my partner and I were dismissed in this way because we're Black??? We looked for a manager on the floor, but we could not find one. I ended up rescheduling my appointment, because none of the other locations in the area had appointments. I should have never done this.When I picked up my dog from his appointment and inspected him in the car, I was horrified. I had requested a bath, haircut, tooth brushing, and nail trim, but it didn't look like they groomed my dog at all. My dog had jagged lines from the clippers in the center of his back and neck and his beard was dirty. Worst of all, my dog had bloody cuts from the clippers all over his ears and his body. He was in so much pain. There were even lacerations inside his ear. This is absolutely terrible. My dog has been getting groomed for his entire life, and I have never witnessed anything like this. I called the location to speak to a manager about this, but of course, no one answered. I'm writing this review to warn other people of the atrocities that occurred at this location. DO NOT GO HERE!

Went to buy fish and you have to be 18?? On top of it the fish that I got was sick with ICK, I'm 20 years old and I've NEVER had to do this before. The lady who worked with me with Purple hair, I didn't get her name, but she was EXTREMELY rude about it. Definitely will be going to Petsmart or mom and pop shops local to get anything else fish related.

I was running errands and since Petco was close by, I decided to go there for multiple items such cat food, kitt litter, dog food, and a few other items. I walked in and I saw that they were switching over inventory to some Christmas items so I thought there may be some associates about that could point me to reasonably priced wet puppy food. I started looking around for an a salesperson to answer my question (and looking at puppy food). I walked around the whole store and although there were two girls working the registers they were busy helping other people, and the lines were too long to wait in to ask a question. After 25 minutes of walking around the store looking for other employees I have up and left my full cart in the store and walked out. No sale. I just felt that waiting and looking for a sales associate to help me for close to half an hour was a little too much.

I had a great experience today at the Grooming Salon here. They allowed me to schedule online and then called two days before to confirm my appointment. Sarah groomed Sammy (who is almost 14 years old now) and she did a great job, taking care to make him look just like the pictures I showed her from a previous grooming appointment at a different salon. The whole process took maybe an hour tops, and she called me right after she finished which made the process less stressful for my old man. No waiting around for hours in a cage here! Would highly recommend Sarah and this salon in general!

Buying a fish: if you're planning on buying a fish here do your research before you come and DO NOT tell the workers how big or small your tank is. They will reject service to you if they feel as though your tank is not suitable. Walked in planning on getting 3 mini sized fish and was denied service when asked about my tank size. The lady there was an animal freak and was saying how you need a 10 gallon tank for one betta and only a betta. Like it's a small fish and they cost a dollar or two. I gladly took home a betta to get him out of the one cup tupperware container. Talk about needing a 10 gallon while you present them in these small containers.

The is for the dog grooming at the Exton PA Petco. We have a mini goldendoodle that we took in for grooming today. I have never experienced such a terrible and just plain amateur from my dog before as I did with the groom Janna in Exton PA. Let's start with the unsafe and bad job Janna did. Each one of my dogs paws have at least 2 chipped/cracked nails after Janna cut them. Along with this, there are several bald spots all over my dog where she shaved my dog straight to the skin. We comb and brush our dog a few times a week and specifically asked her to leave my dogs hair as long as possible. To top it all off, Janna shaved my entire dog! Like I said, we comb/brush our dog a lot so I know her fur was nowhere near matted to where she would need to shave her entire body. I'm not sure if it's in experience or laziness, but this is by far the worst pet groom I have every taken my dog to and I urge everyone to STAY AWAY FROM EXTON PA DOG GROOMING!!!

Love the ladies in the grooming department. Even a finicky Chihuahua behaves for them. Friendly & qualified. Both my Chihuahuas, along with myself, are very satisfied.
