Let me start by saying I absolutely love the quality and fit of Lands End swimwear and clothing. I usually order online but today we decided to make the 45 minute drive to the closest store which was in Exton. My husband was with me and sat down in a comfy chair adjacent to the women’s/men’s dressing room stalls to hold my selections and wait for me to try on one item. A sales associate came in to unlock a spot for me and told my husband that he couldn’t sit there. He said are you telling me I can’t sit here? ( there was another man sitting in the same area) She said well not unless you walk through the men’s section. I was quite confused. Her tone was very serious. My husband let her know that another male associate said that this area was here for him to sit down. She said well that was a man. After I tried on the dress we proceeded to the check out area. My husband walked with me telling the women that we would never be coming back here again. He was too loud and I do apologize for that but she then said you’ll be back your wife will be back. My husband continued to complain about her comments and she said that she was just being sarcastic. Sarcasm has NO place in customer service. I truly did not understand or appreciate her comments either. Was he not allowed to sit there? I will be ordering online but I doubt if a 45 minute drive is worth the unusual uncomfortable treatment.

This is the closest brick and mortar store near me, about an hour away. I happened to be in the area (mid-week and mid-day) and decided to "swing on in". Based on the Google reviews, I was expecting an underwhelming experience. I'm happy to report my experience was just the opposite! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the store was well stocked!

Ordered online. Land’s End acknowledged size. Sent wrong size. Store had no stock. Sales person did good job on return, but could only offer online sale as an option. That’s how we started. No guarantee same problem wouldn’t occur again. No satisfaction.

A week before Christmas and they’re closed at 7:45 on a Friday night? And no way to order online for in store pickup. It’s like they don’t want your business.

I bought a pair of pants in store for $40. Washed and wore them. I liked them so I went online to buy another pair - only to find out that they were on sale for $20! That's a BIG price difference! So I rebought the same pants along with another color. Went to this store to return the brand new (exactly the same) pants with the first receipt. They were getting back exactly what they sold me. I left them in the online packaging so the store workers could see that they were brand new. I had the in store receipt and the in store tag. The worker refused to take the return back with my first receipt. She said she had to use the online tag. She said I should go home and get the pants that I already wore and bring those in to return instead! I said - How about we just take these pants out of the online packaging and you pretend that you didn't see it? I could go outside and throw away the online packaging and come back in with the brand new pants and tag to return. She was arguing with me that they were losing money and she couldn't do it. But I was returning brand new pants with a receipt that I used to purchase those exact pants! Finally, she elevated it to the assistant manager and the manager accepted my return. What ever happened to doing what you need to in order to keep the customer happy? I was happy that I finally got taken care of but I had to fight with them for 15 minutes about it first. I certainly won't be shopping at that store ever again. Gets an F for customer service from me.

The young lady doing online returns was great on 8/5 in the morning. She was knowledgeable, quick, and polite. She did a great job!

Came in to check out the store and see what they had in store. Kinda disappointed with merchandise and customer service. Associate right at the entrance and not even said hello or smiled. Completely ignored like I had never came in. I worked for this company many years ago and customer service was top notch but today was the bottom of the pit! I give 2 stars bc the store was cleaned, that’s about it.

The only reason I am giving them three stars is because they take back online returns and sometimes run sales on bathing suits. The store itself is a large, clean space with ample parking and I'd be a fan if they carried more items in my size and focused more on appealing to the 40-50 year old woman demographic. I'm not sure who their clothing is supposed to be for, but it's certainly not me.I don't know who is in charge of design, but their plus size clothes are basically cut to be a gigantic tent, with no tailoring and awful print choices and the sizes are completely inconsistent, mostly running large.

The staff is very knowledgeable and so helpful. They know there inventory and can always direct you to the item you wish to buy.
