Best European cuisine I’ve had. Desserts and wine selection are unmatched!

We LOVE this place. The food and the atmosphere are just perfect for a little romantic dinner. The staff is very accomodating, we are fortunate that we live so close and can visit often.

We each had French onion soup which was fantastic. We both loved it! Our entrees were a chicken dish and ciopinno; both were good. There were 9 different desserts on the menu, some GF. Service was great. Our server was new; he will do fine there. The only thing we didn't like was mandatory valet, which we didn't expect, with clockwise drop off which meant the driver was closer to the door. Weird setup. We also didn't know that valet was free until end of night (tip what you'd like) which left us uneasy bc we didn't know if it would cost $10 or$30. The valet's did tell us either. A "free valet" sign would be nice. At end of night, valet brought car but bc of traffic pattern, brought it far from standing area so my bf had to get keys from valet, put it in park, then come let me into car (I had hands full). Seems small but for patrons, it's the first and last impression. Overall, had a great night and highly recommend the place.

This is a hidden Gem. If you have never been here I highly recommend. The food was fantastic. The staff was amazing and it was such a busy night as it was Valentine's Day but even though it was a busy night the food and the service was impeccable.

Having dined here before, we expected a good meal and evening. It was even better. We were taken to a cozy room with five tables, a fireplace with fire lit which we had not seen before. The restaurant was very busy at 5:00pm (the only available time before 8:30pm on Valentine's Day). Our waitress, Carrie, was excellent...pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient without making us feel rushed. The meal was prepared well and delicious. The evening was perfect!

Lovely Valentine's/Anniversary dinner. Seated in a small room with fireplace. The Lena room. Our wonderful server was a charming young man named Kurt who was attentive yet unobtrusive. My lobster crepes were delicious but lukewarm. My husband's Wiener schnitzel was also lukewarm and lacking flavor. The popovers with lemon curd were superb. We will return.

Dinner for 2 @ 7pm on a Saturday night. We were 20min early and seated right away. I read a lot about the charm of this converted farmhouse, but unfortunately were led up a flight of stairs to the 2FL? It might have been 3FL but not impressive. The upper dining area was encased in very old /clouded windows and what seemed to be indoor/outdoor carpet. It was chilly and drafty that she needed to keep her coat on! Server was Alex. He was somewhat efficient until the end. Took very long for coffee and dessert and used the old “waited for fresh pot of coffee to brew” reply. Apps were good...shrimp cocktail (how can you go wrong) and baked brie wheel in pasty puff. The brie was lacking flavor honestly. Underwhelming. She had the short rib and I had the lamb chops. The lamb was succulent and cooked perfectly (med-rare) and had excelllent flavor. Her short rib was good, but not great. It seemed a little dry. For the prices we paid we expected excellence all around, but we didn't experience it. Yes, we knew going into it, the restaurant was going to be different than center city...but for what can be argued, this was MORE expensive than many Philly restaurants. I expected a better decor and more modern furnishings than wallpaper from 1992, indoor/outdoor carpet, uneven floors/transitions, and generally uninspiring experience. While the food was good, we can get good food almost anywhere and not pay $230 (before tip) for 2 people with 1 cocktail each and 1 dessert and 2 coffees. The mocha ice cream, she said, she didn't taste any mocha flavor. Again, underwhelming. The million dollar question, would we come back? Probably not. While there's was no show stopping negatives, conversely there were no show stopping outstandings. There are many more restaurants we can experience closer to center city Philly/Wilmington areas.

We were looking forward to our dinner at this high-end restaurant. We have been there in the past and had a good experience. This time was not so great. We were greeted at the door with a lukewarm reception, then ushered upstairs to an overflow room for dinner. There was a party of six already seated, they were extremely loud and drunk, and instead of seating us at the other end of the room, they decide to seat us right next to them, food was decent service was nice but the drunk obnoxiously loud party next to us really took the ambience out of the dinner. The greeter/hostess had zero personality and barely acknowledged our existence. Don't think will be coming back, not a cheap night out to have a disappointing experience.

We were taken right to our table, attended to immediately by a very enthusiastic waitress whom gave us ample time to consider the menu and answered our questions on the specials. Courses were delivered on a timely but unhurried basis making for a very pleasant evening.

Food & drinks: I was an observer and diner at the restroom. Reservations were made being promised a first floor seat for an 84 year old woman as part of the party . This promise was not kept. Still we ate here. The waiter was not great. Having said all that the atmosphere was fabulous. The food was delicious. Very well done. They should be proud of what they do. Promise less deliver more.

I always come here with family for Thanksgiving and New Years Eve. Both this year did not disappoint for the most part. Was a tad disappointed there was no add ons for NYE this year, such as lobster tail, but the food was still wonderful. We had the baked brie and caprese salad for appetizers. The baked brie comes with a raspberry sauce and almonds and melts in your mouth. Entrees were the filet, strip steak, and a vegan gnocchi. All were cooked to perfection. Also can never go wrong with the dessert- we had the cheese strudel and we wish we had room for more! Drinks are always made fabulous by Michael at the downstairs bar- always ask for drinks to be made by him! Also any server you get for your meal will be top notch- never have had an issue with our server!
