I love going to East Suburban. We've been going here for over 10 years. The doctors are very caring and kind. I always feel like they recommend realistic treatment options. I've tried going to other vets that are closer to me but the prices are in the same ballpark but never the same quality of service. I'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes and go to East Suburban where I know my dog is getting the best advice and care. Not just that but they have great communication skills across the board (phone call, email, and text). I'm very thankful that my animals have been able to go here not just for routine visits but also "emergencies" where we were able to get squeezed into an appointment in the same day.

I have been going here for years with family pets and now my own pets and I just have to say that they are honestly the best vet my family has ever been to. They are kind and helpful. I just had a pet pass the other day and called them in tears and they helped figure out what I wanted to do moving forward and explained things to me that I didn’t understand. I am very grateful that they are my vet.

My husband was hospialized and I came home to my 17 year old senior dog near death. When I got to East Suburban the front end worker asked if I had an appointment I did not. My dog needed euthanized she was that bad, I didn't plan on that happening that day. The doctors and the technicians have always been wonderful the front end worker not so much. My dog did get euthanized that day, a few days later I called and asked to speak to the manager. After a few more calls on my part I did get ahold of an office manager who said that the front end worker told her I was using profanities with her not true. I was supposed to get a call back I did not. It made a very stressful situation worse that day that I will never forget. They are not excepting any new patients and the two pets of mine that I had taken there are both dead now so I will never go back.

Deleted my previous review since my experience has greatly improved these past few years.
Dr. Hullihen has been fantastic. I really appreciate how personable she is; I feel like that's rare with veterinarians. She called me personally to give me an update on my cat and is more than happy to educate when I've had questions.
Similar kudos to Dr Cheesman when I took my other cat in recently.
I tend to be a very paranoid cat mom (they're my children!) and both Drs helped with my anxiety.
Not only do vets need to treat their fur patients, but the humans need care as well and thankfully I experienced that this year.

East Suburban Animal Hospital has been my go to Veterinary Hospital for over 40 years. The staff are knowledgable, compassionate, and professional. Highly recommend.
