I’m doing a review to tell how impressed I am with our garbage pick up guy Willie! He’s so personable and such a nice guy! I’ve spoken to him several times and he always has a smile on his face! He takes pride in his job! I know these workers probably don’t get a lot of reviews soI wanted to take the time out to do this. Hiring people like him makes our world a better place!! I don’t know his last name but I’m sure you can track him down by my address! Donation rd! Again please give him some recognition. Thank u for hiring a great guy!!

Scheduled a pick up for couch. Never came. No phone call or anything. The fact that landfill is only open 7-3 M-F doesn’t help either. They should have at least one day they stay open late for the people who work 1st shift M-F since they close for weekends also. ??

WM's service is similar to the trash they pick up. They charge more than anyone else, they refuse to let you drop of their trash can somewhere when you want to cancel their lousy service, and instead charge you $100 to pick it up ( you know instead just grabbing it when they drive by every week). They don't show up to pick up your trash for random reasons and blame it on the weather. We've had to chase them down the road because they drove by our big WM trash can and didn't pick it up (by the way we have our credit card on autocharge, so they always got their payment except when their payment system broke). Oh and good luck when you try to cancel. You'll be doing that for at least two hours

Bit of a pain. Took my privately owned box truck to drop off some remodeling waste. Had to wait and call someone to get a special acception to even let me in. Then a $65 minimum fee. Ground around where they told me to dump was so soft I nearly lost a shoe

Inconsistent pick up. In the past month, pickup was delayed a week twice and picked up the next day once. They make us put recyclables and trash out on 2 different days. Right now, I'm on hold waiting to talk to someone about why my recyclables are still sitting by the road when their automated system says it was picked up yesterday!

Absolutely terrible!! Lucky if they come every other week. Have to call and wait on hold for over an hour to get credit for them not coming, otherwise they bill you for not coming. Talked to multiple supervisors and they still do nothing. The driver on multiple occasions says we aren’t putting trash next to road. (Bold face lie, trash can is always at road. It’s where it stays 24/7) Took picture of trash next to road on Wednesday. Driver was a no show yesterday.. Pretty bad I have to take pictures to prove that it is an issue with their company.

This seems to occur at least once every six weeks because they mysteriously miss us , very irritating when you call and it takes an hour of trying to figure out my address very poor businesship they just seem to miss our pick up with our big green trash tote from them out by the road.

Trying to get a real person to answer a simple question is impossible. The bot setup for phone calls exists solely to irritate you into hanging up.

Terrible, this company alone is why I think people think of Erie as a dirty town. WM is a privatized company that has a monopoly on the town. With a monopoly they can charge you whatever cost, with poor quality service. The town of Erie has trash flying around in every neighborhood, because we don’t have trash receptacles provided and they don’t pick up trash even when it’s in the side of the road. They also don’t offer residential trash dumping, unless you want to pay over $100 for a load under 1 ton. This company is a big factor as to why I want to leave Erie when I’m done with school here

Charges a minimum of $82 for any trash dropoff. I dropped off a mattress set and an old recliner and had to pay $82. I was told the only other way was to schedule them to be picked up one item per week, which is time I didn't have. Absolutely ridiculous.Edit - Just checked and I am unable to even schedule bulky item pickup because the website says it is not available in my area.

Service is very unreliable, hard to talk to a person, if you do, they are not local & not willing to deduct missing service from my bill which has almost doubled!

My driver is very nice. He always has my bin and my area clean. I WOULD WITHOUT A DOUBT RECOMMEND WM TO ANYONE. Price is great too for what they do..THANK YOU TO MY DRIVER YOU DO A GREAT JOB??
