I know employees are hard to come by right now…..but maybe the bakery isn’t the best place for the person who wrote on our cake? Disappointing.

I have been shopping at Giant Eagle since I moved back to Erie 5 year ago. As of yesterday I will no longer be a customer. My husband went to your store to pick up a few items and forgot a BAG. He is 75 years old and your good employees would not even put the 5 items in the cart for him, they just stood there. This is unacceptable and not customer friendly..SHAME ON YOU GIANT EAGLE. I hope this is worth it to you to lose customers. I’m not the only one who feels this way. I know other customers that have stopped shopping your store because of the customer service.
At least Wegmans employees are friendly and courteous. You all need to be trained on customer service.

This is by far the best bakery experience I have had in Erie anywhere. I could not be more grateful and appreciative of the kind and creative staff that prepared a wonderful cake for my son’s birthday. Not only does the cake taste delicious but the imaginative minds of the bakery staff deserve kudos. This isn’t the first time. Consistently and time and time again they spend time with me and offer suggestions and they always assure my order exceeds any expectation. Thank you Interchange Rd (Erie) Giant Eagle bakery staff. Your work is much appreciated and your team is outstanding.
