2644 W 8th St, Erie“This store carries no junk. I added a description with my photos that lists many of the toys, games, books, and puzzles you will find. One of the best features besides the quality of the items is how the store is organized - by type like trucks, trains, play food, dinosaurs, zoo animals, special coloring books, etc. There are many types of items to choose from and usually several choices in a category; for example, they have 5 different Spirograph options and 6 different 'paint by sticker' books. They also have a selection of clothing for little ones and some cute gift bags. Prices for items we have purchased there are competitive.”
“Highly recommend coming here. The staff is amazing. I ordered a bear for my daughter's birthday (ordered it online, not in the store).
The bear we received in the mail was awful. Clearly they did not do any kind of quality check prior to shipping.
I tried to reach out to Build-A-Bear headquarters directly, but never received a call back, so I decided to come into the local store, and I'm so glad I did. The girl that was working was so sweet and immediately tried to fix our bad order. She was apologetic (and sincere) and just wanted to make things right.
I'll say this: I'll probably never again order from Build-A-Bear online. But I will definitely return to this store.”
“Great bookstore with lots of options for various readers. They always have relevant options and recommendations in the front of the store and it appears that they take some time in choosing these titles. All employees have been helpful and friendly and are always available to answer questions, point you in the right direction, or provide recommendations for good reads.”
“I have always gotten great service at this location. Some aisle are not wheelchair or walker friendly. This is a depot store they usually have lots of stock do to the type of store. So take the chances getting down an aisle for good prices or ask for help.”
“I’m not from Erie and found this shop by accident on my way to a commercial Food Show. 10/10 It’s a blast. It’s one of the few remaining local shops that will just inherently generate the good energy of a city. Even if you’ve never wanted an Action Figure in your whole life, the vibes walking around places like this will remind you what it’s like being around people who found something they really enjoyed and made a functional life out of it. It’s the good sauce. Send your friends. Oh and they sold me a Kilowog Build-a-Figure for less than I’d ever seen on eBay or anywhere else. Poozers <3”
