Smith Collision came highly recommended to me by friends. I was not disappointed. I have to say their whole team went above and beyond my expectations - everyone from Kathy, the office manager to the mechanics and to Gary Smith himself. As a single female, taking a car to a mechanic is a nerve wracking experience. Gary and his team are completely above board and honest! A deer hit my car so the damage was extensive. Gary and his team did an amazing job! They handled everything with my insurance company and even helped with the car rental. They repaired my car in a timely manner, even with difficulties getting parts. i would not hesitate taking my car to them again in the future. I highly recommend them for their service, repair work and above all - their honesty, professionalism and integrity. Other automotive businesses should follow their example!

I happen to see a few negative reviews regarding Smith Collision. I have been using them for years. I think 4 times. People don't believe some of these negative comments you read on here. Good company, great job, I find it hard to believe they would ever do a bait and switch. This Blair person is very mistaken. Gary, comes out, takes pics, and starts surveying the damage. Its logical to assume that he can't see all the damage until they get it on a lift from what you can't see from just looking, what's in plain view. All he will do then is call the insurance and report his findings and the insurance will adjust the claim. No biggie... Thumbs up Gary-----Mark-- 16 Pilot..

Hands down the best experience I’ve had at a car shop! As a woman, it has been my experience in the past of consistently being taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge on cars and car parts, only to discover later that I was both way overcharged and had things “replaced/repaired” that did not require attention. Smith Collision gave me the opposite impression and experience from the moment I stepped inside. Not only are they the nicest and genuinely caring people, but they saw me right away and fixed the problem right on the spot while intentionally saving me a lot of money! He was thorough and kind in explaining exactly what he was doing and how he fixed the problem. The overall experience has gained my business for any vehicle related needs I may have in the future. 10/10 recommend!

Thanks to Smith’s Collision for the back to new look of my car.Had side damage from a hit and run while car was parked.Erie Insurance and Smith’s hooked up and 5stars later I am back on the road. Great communication with daily updates via email.Two amazing companies in Erie, PA

I wish I had something good to say about this place but I do not. The woman in the front was very rude and the work that was performed was half slapped together. Would not recommend to anyone!

I had a tent blow over in the wind and hit my car. It put a big dent in the door, scratched the roof extremely bad and scratched the door on the other side. I decided to go to here after searching around for local body shops. They made it pretty much hassle free on my end from the time I dropped off the car then picked it up. They talked to my insurance company, filed for supplemental damages, and kept in contact. When I went to pick the car up it was washed both inside and out and looked better than the day we brought it home. The paint was blended extremely well and the body work on the dent was too notch. It's metallic paint and there was no sags, splotches, or tiger stripes. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone.

This business does a bait and switch on its customers and then gaslights them about it. I was told that it would be $1000 repair (verbal quote) and then the estimate came in at $2900!!! I recommend you take a video of their verbal quote. Because then they cannot gaslight you when you call them out on their b&s tactic, which is what they did to me. Women be especially wary. The men in the shop aren't on the same page with one another, and the nasty receptionist is particularly off-putting. She claims to be hard of hearing, so I thought perhaps that was why she came across as prickly. Then she ended up picking a fight with me after I peacefully wrote a check, figuring this was just an expensive learning experience on my end, and as I was getting ready to walk away, she lambasted me for lobbing a complaint against them. Good thing I didn't tell them who they were dealing with, although it was tempting. I held my tongue.
