I've gave this store some business over the years but this owner guy with the stache is always so rude! My wife and I were just in the other day asking about a new pistol, and we're both competition shooters and hunters. He kept insisting that she should go with this revolver, some Taurus model we didn't like. Kept saying a woman couldn't handle the recoil of a "real pistol." Yeah right. The wife likes to shoot a 1911 in .38 super! Hunts with a .270Weatherby Magnum, but okay. He had some neat signs up I would have liked to ask where he got em if he wasn't so rude to begin with. I'll take my business else where mr. stache man!

Owner of the Store with the mustache is very blatantly prejudiced and could not seem to process that there were brown people in his shop, Very Snarky and Could not take his eyes off of me. Felt extremely unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Take your business elsewhere.

Friend and I had a firearm transferred about a week ago. The guy working the counter helped us through the application process. Service was satisfactory but as a consumer, new gun owner and customer interested in more, I felt it could of been more personable. They probably could of got more sales from me before leaving but after the transfer they kind of minded their own. No fault to them I’m sure as I have seen getting into this industry that a lot of Gun Shop owners, employees, and mainly customers have big egos and/or poor social/customer service skill. The I know it all attitude. Overall, my pleasure at Presque Isle Gun Shop was enjoyable and I look forward to stopping in for ammunition and additional firearms as the prices looked great! Will update my review with additional visits.

The owner was incredibly rude to my wife and I as we were trying to sell a used hunting rifle. Idk if we just didn't look like the right people but as a military veteran and a firearms enthusiast I was shocked at how he was treating me and my family. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Stopped in looking for a new IWB holster. At the time.I didn't have my gun on me, spur of the moment kind of thing. Spoke with one of the employees and he was very helpful. Ended up going back later in the day with it because I still had errands to run. Same gentleman helped me out. He was opening them and we found one that both fit and I liked. Great atmosphere and service. Even picked up some ammo for a rifle.of mine. Much cheaper than any big chain store or ordering online. Definitely be going back.

Felt rushed and pressured to buy something. Asked the gentleman with the mustache about a rifle, he asked if I was serious about buying, I replied with not today and he walked away and ignored me . Tried asking about ammo and he walked away from me ... after that I decided to take my money to Keystone Armory where I purchased 2 pistols and various rounds of ammo. The people at keystone are friendly and ammo prices are almost half of what these guys are asking .. personally i would . drive to sportsman warehouse in Erie or keystone armory .. mustache man was a total azzhole

Helped me out a huge amount trying to get a scope on a old glenfield mod 25. They knew exactly what scope rings I was looking for and the owner even helped mount it and he did an awesome job to hardly needed any adjustment! Thank you again!

Hands down this shop has one of, if not the best inventory selections in Western PA, western NY or Eastern OH. From hard to get ammo to practically every caliber firearm you could ask for, this shop has all them. He has one of the best blue label selections on the east coast and if he doesn't have it, he usually can get it. Most of the negative comments I have seen are straight lies, people looking to cheat an honest shop, or from people you would not want to own firearms to begin with. Check them out and I challenge you to tell me I am wrong.

First time visit the store to this local gun shop. Small but packed floor to ceiling. Tons of rifles shotguns handguns. Huge selection of ammo all calibers .All grades of firearms economical to mid highs. Great service knowledgeable friendly staff .prices close to online for ammo

I was very pleased with my purchase and the owner took his time and was very informative. He also gave me a brochure and copy of upcoming classes which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this shop to others! The owner Tim is a great guy to work with and made me feel at ease. The shop is in a great location and easy to find! Thank you so much for your help Tim!

Refused to let me in the building due to me having a service dog, not only did they refuse to let me in they forcefully made me leave and was extremely rude about it.

Working for a LE agency I prefer to support home shops. I attempted to purchase a new blue line/ label Firearm. While at the shop they where on the phone right in front of me supposedly ordering one that, “will be here in a week for you”. They took my information. After closer to three weeks, two calls, and a visit to the shop, they attempted to tell me the distributor didn’t have any in stock. Unfortunately I contacted the distributor MARKL supply. They simply lied and continued to lie to me. MARKL Supply had plenty in stock for several weeks. Presque Isle Gun Shop gets its LE products from MARKL, which takes three days to deliver at 20 bucks. However they want to charge 50-70 more. This gun shop is not LE friendly!! Erie Pa LE take a short drive to MARKL and Get 4.5 stars service instead of 3 or 3.5.
