We have had only great experiences with the team there. My advice to potential pet owners: Don't go in with a specific pet in mind. Tell them about your situation, comfort level, experience and the like and then let them tell you what would probably work best for you and your situation. I can't recommend the store or the team highly enough. Also, ask to order from the secret menu and get a Panda cub... That was, hopefully, an obvious lie. Buzz n B's does not trade in or condone any illegal pet trade animals. Another reason they are great.

The Crate Escape

Twinbrook Veterinary Hospital
5065 Buffalo Rd, ErieTwinbrook Veterinary Hospital has been there for us every step of the way since we adopted our first fur kid, Francine in 2020. In addition to providing excellent wellness care and advice, they have always heard our concerns and been incredibly thorough. When we noticed a change in behavior, we brought her in to have her evaluated. Dr. Smith found her osteosarcoma(unexpected in a cat that young)and Dr. Rosenthal performed surgery on her the very next day. They saved her life and then helped us to help her heal and adjust to life on three legs. They have continued to monitor her for any signs of reoccurrence and she has not only survived, but thrived.
We have since added to our family and each time, they have helped us integrate our new member(s) and treated any issues that have arisen from a routine neuter(Max) to a full dental(Maggie). They have even assisted us when we have fostered kittens. In addition to excellent veterinary care, the office staff is first rate. We have been shown kindness and compassion by everyone we’ve encountered and we genuinely believe that they love our animals as much as we do. We are eternally grateful to Twinbrook and recommend them highly.

Summit Pet Hospital & Care Center
7091 Edinboro Rd, ErieTwice I've reached out to several other vet clinics and got no help without asking for so much money just to walk in the door. This office helped us both times and my dogs are not even patients there yet! We plan to switch vets and go with summit pet hospital from now on. They took us In twice on short notice and heard us and helped us when no other vets would! They truly care about everyone's pets and helped us with ease and we didn't need to jump threw so many hoops like every other vet we have contacted! They have the best most affordable prices from all other vets that I've checked. My husband's dog needed xrays. I called many places and I came across this clinic and they were able to get him in right away and also had the most affordable price by far for the x rays. Today I needed meds for my other dog and they helped us get those meds today! We were able to get my dog the meds he needed within an hour of talking to them. I explained the same situation to my regular vet and they said it would take at least 4 days before i could even get the meds he needed and the cost would have been way more as i would have had to get a second fecal done which made no sense. I'm so happy with this clinic and how they looked into his records so I didn't have to pay for a second fecal and then wait 4 days for the results to come in just to treat something we already knew he had. They saved me so much time and money by just listening to us and looking up my dogs record for us when no other vet cared to do that. I highly recommend this clinic as I know from experience that it's not just about the money, they actually care about your pets! Thank you for caring about our dogs as much as we do.

My older dog loves her and actually gets excited when I say her name. He is getting acupuncture for back legs. He's a 10 year old lab and my whole ❤️ heart. She is so good with him and really listens to our concerns and has taken such good care if him. Would recommend them to anyone who loves their babies as much as we do which is immensely!

There is plenty room for two large agility rings and there are shows held here more than every other weekend. There is barn hunt training upstairs. There even is a pool! Denise Thomas is one of the most amazing agility trainers you'll ever meet. You won't regret trialing here or training with Countryside Agility.

I might add that the gelato is top notch. My out of town grandchildren think they own the place. They are barely in the door and ask to go to ippa. When the server noticed they didn't t eat the crust, she brought then some marinara to dip it. Smart move. It worked like a charm.

To date, I've tried the Van Gogh, the Starry Night, and the Garden of Delights. The sandwiches are delicious, but they can be heavy. They are hot, hefty, and bursting with flavor and vision. Picasso's presents unique, purposefully composed sandwiches to its patrons, and I'm a fan of that. I'm already plotting in trying the Rockefeller while it's availbale this year.
I'm not usually a tater tot person, but the tots here are unbelievably good. My tot-afficionado husband agrees: these are possibly the best tater tots on the planet. The fountains are loaded with soda formulas uninque to Picasso's. Staff has recommended the cream soda to me each time I visit, and I can confirm that it is indeed delicious. The garlic cheese curds are also insanely good. Gluten-free options are also available to diners.
All that said, Picasso's is best for a lazy day, or for a treat after you finish work or errands. If you order and eat a whole sandwich, you may be down for the count!

My wife had the chicken pomodori which she enjoyed and I had the Cubano which was good but for my taste there was a bit much mustard which took away from the smoked pork loin flavor. Our server was very nice and quick with our order and always polite. The only thing I could say it the seating was a bit tight just to close quarters for me being next to other tables just felt like we were eating with the other tables.

The Bistro
2 Sassafras Pier, ErieI can't wait to go back! The Courtyard was what we hoped for and more. Beautifully positioned on the bay, the hotel had an amazing view, especially from the front walk and infinity pool. We stayed at this hotel as a family of 5 (including an infant) and we were very comfortable for us. There's a smaller cafe in the lobby that serves coffee and breakfast. It was much better than I anticipated. We tried a few breakfast items and I think we may have enjoyed it more than the actual restaurant itself. We tried it on a very sunny day so no umbrella was going to help us from the sunshine and heat. The only downside is that there were some yellowjackets on the bushes during our meal, which we addressed with management. Not sure if they took care of it but it drove us inside to finish our meal. Had that not happened, we would have had a 5 star experience. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nice. We stayed over a few nights when there was construction and it detoured how we returned to the hotel. The nightly rate is quite high but it was overall such a nice experience I thought it was worth it. It was a bit annoying that we were also charged a parking fee given the rate. I think it should be included. Overall a great experience. If you plan to stay in Erie this hotel is your place!

Most shelters have tight restrictions on adoption and I was very surprised they let us adopt out two cats at one time! This is rare and my brother and I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to give these angels a great forever home. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking to adopt! Attached is my sweet baby Beans!
