“I came here as I had some time to kill (I had 25 minutes until a dinner order would be ready). If you like wine, this place has more wine than just about any store I've ever been to. Aisle after aisle. A lot of people work here but I didn't ask them about their expertise. Though one guy asked if I needed help, which I appreciate. They also sell some hard alcohol such as vodka but the majority of the store is wine. Some of the wine labels (on the shelving) list the points of each wine (on a scale of 100) which is a great way to find a good wine. They also have a summary to read. I found a high scoring wine and it turned out to be a winner. I quite enjoyed it, as did my dinner company. If you're looking to buy wine in Erie PA, especially if you want some recommendations, come here.”
“This is my to go place for all beers domestic and import. They offer a great variety and prices are good. Knowledgeable staff who are helpful and very friendly. I would rather go here than grocery stores or beer distributors.”

“There is a far more limited selection at this FWGS location. It is a very small store attached to multiple different stores in the East Erie Plaza.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, so if this location doesn't carry your favorite drink, any one of the staff members can recommend a comparable substitution. I live right near this location, and have had the staff recommend great substitutes for my regular brand of Vodka. They have also recommended excellent wines to try”
“I had a stellar experience at store 2511. The staff were nice and easy to approach. I didn't get the guys name, but he came over to me and provided very useful information on the Whiskey/ Bourbon products. We talked for a minute and I'm sure he could tell I was an enthusiast/ beginner collector. I really appreciated our conversation. Back to the store itself. Very clean and well organized. There are a few gems there so keep your eyes open!”

“I love this place. Bought my first keg here in the 70's.Today they have the cheapest prices for most beers. Some other distributors have exclusive sales on a particular item for a buck or two less. But I think Elmwood Beer Distributors has the most exclusive sales?”
“All the liquor that you can drink in one handy spot! Clean, well stocked store. I have not yet been here and not found what I was looking for. Staff is friendly, tap to pay at counter, parking lot is a little congested but thats not the stores fault. Also located next to a Sheetz, which makes getting mixers convenient. All and all a good store.”
