“Especilly like the room darkening blinds for the bright sunny mornings when you want to sleep in a bit. It's also so nice to be able to raise or lower the blinds from the top and bottom. And..... no cords to deal with.”

“Several possibilities to choose from that met my checklist, range of prices, good quality, wide choice of upholstery for some models, array of possible sets though came down to one couch for now, prompt shipping at modest cost — looking forward to my house becoming my home!”

“Beautiful gallery with unique pieces that make me think of Erie in the summer! I wanted to share my experience of ordering a custom piece. I had some sea glass (known here as beach glass!) from a very special location and the owner offered to make a custom piece with this special glass. It was mailed within days and was a perfect gift. Love this place!”

“Found some beautiful things to buy with my certificate, I got a make up case, some floating candles, and a stress stone to help relax. I am so sad the they are closing because of retirement of owner. It will be under new management after December 31 2022.”

“My disabled parents badly needed a new bed, but didn't want to over pay. We went to Fred's as I received a bed from them through my case manager, and was very happy with it. Fred's works with a lot of local social service agencies to help families in need get quality furniture for a good price. So naturally we chose Fred's for their new bed. I am very pleased with the entire process. Mr Barbato helped us to find the right bed at a very reasonable price. There was no pressure from him to buy something really expensive, he just listened to our needs and helped us find something that matched well. He also recommended a smaller box spring as it would make the bed lower and easier for them to get in and out, which I didn't even know was an option, so we are grateful for that as well. The total for the mattress, box spring, taxes, and delivery actually ended up being less than we were originally quoted, so they saved even more! I was worried that the bed would not arrive before my mom's upcoming knee surgery, but he told us two business days. We scheduled the day and time of delivery, paid, and left. All told this took maybe 30 minutes, much less time than I had anticipated it might take. Like I said there was no pressure at all, he was just genuinely interested in meeting our needs. Then today the bed was delivered, they even arrived early! Cam and Matt I believe were the guys who made the delivery. They had the mattress and box springs switched out in no more than 5 minutes. All in all this was a fantastic experience, and we are definitely making any future furniture purchases here. They even do layaway! Efficient, affordable, and reliable are the top three qualities I would ascribe to Fred's. Keep up the good work!”

“Since this "HomeGoods" store did not have any Yelp reviews, I figure why not be the first to represent its one and only Erie, PA store. This particular location is at the Millcreek Pavilion shopping center on Interchange Rd. and directly off of I-79. The building itself neighbors a Ross and Michaels as well as many other retail stores and restaurants in this area. Parking can be fairly easy no matter what time of day or evening you come. They also have very respectable hours being open Monday-Thursday from 9:30am-9:30pm, Friday from 9:30am-10:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am-8:00pm. As many people know, HomeGoods is also part of TJX who also operate TJ Maxx and Marshall's stores around the United States, Canada, and even some European countries. HomeGoods mainly focuses on small furniture items, linens/bedding, cooking products, ceramic dinnerware, lighting, art, area rugs and other home accessories including candles, perishable food items, pet accessories, and bath decor. During my visit which was on the evening of Friday 9/15/2023 at around 8:00pm, the Erie, PA location had a decent amount of customers while the store itself was very well stocked. One employee was organizing pillows while another was sweeping the floor. I did also witness several sales associates ringing customers up as the line moved rather quickly. Again, many retail stores including this "HomeGoods" can be very busy depending on the time of day you shop. They also carry quite a bit of seasonal items to spruce up your home; autumn/Halloween from Sep-Nov, Christmas from Nov-Dec, so on and so forth. With that said and done, I am giving this store an above average four-star rating.”

“The staff at this Joann Fabrics was an absolute golden standard. When I asked for Sharon’s opinion on the fabric that I was cutting, she gave me very helpful advice and was able to point me to a better fabric choice. Melinda, our cashier brought a delightful holiday cheer to round out our shopping experience.”

“I love going shopping at Ross! It's honestly like a giant thrift store. Everything is neatly organized and for the most part, the prices seems very affordable, however, the prices vary.”

“This is sincerely THE BEST retail store I have ever shopped at. I manage to load the cart every time and this visit was not an exception. Don't bother going to the GW across the street because this store has it all for way less money and its all brand new. I am not sure if I am just hitting it at the right times but I always end up finding tons of stuff here. I also shop at the Gabe's stores in Western NY as I am from there but they absolutely DO NOT pale in comparison to this one. This one just gets a way better selection of merchandise than all of them. If you love clothing and you don't mind the 2 hour drive from WNY this store is totally worth it. This is an absolutely gigantic store and you should probably plan to spend a couple hours here hunting for stuff. In fact, I think this is the biggest retail store I have ever seen in my life. For the guys there is a Men's department that takes up a good part of the store and again its definitely the largest Men's department I have seen in my life. This store is clean and neat and does not look run down. The prices are cheaper than thrift stores and cheaper than Walmart. For example I paid $29.99 for brand name women's boots and $7.99 for women's leggings and jeans, brand name stuff that is new. TJ Maxx and Marshalls have the same types of goods but if you like those stores you will pay 30-50% less for them here. For example Tahari jeans for $7.99 - $9.99 here instead of $14.99-24.99 at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. This is just a couple examples but there are definitely more bargains in the place.”
