First appointment today for oil change & tire rotation. I’ve been looking for a locally owned garage where prices are fair & the people are trustworthy & friendly. So far, Harrell seems to be my place? Today was $20* less than the garage I was using & $40+ less than the dealership. AND the service was awesome! Corey was my contact & he was pleasant & knowledgeable. I was in & out in approximately an hr. My car was washed & smelled so fresh when I left. I would recommend Harrell Automotive.

My visit today was for tires and inspection. No one likes spending money these days but Corey (hope I spelled his name correctly) made it as painless as possible. Including the rest of the staff there today. I’m glad I stumbled upon the place with promo card in the mail. Thank you again! You have my business.

I strongly believe that there should be an option to not give this place of business any stars. I had my car towed (2017 Chevy Equinox) there with a check engine light indicator on and the car would not drive on 10/27/23. I was contacted on 10/30/2023 by Harrell Automotive stating that I needed new tires, rear brakes, and rear brake rotors and that the repairs would be approximately $2,000. I reminded them that my car was towed due to a check engine light, and they proceed to tell me that they needed to do a more extensive test (drop down leakage) which would cost me almost an additional $300. I agreed and they continued to ask if I wanted the other work down which I refused due to the most important issue at hand being the non-running car and engine light. At the end of the day on 11/1/2023 I still had not heard anything from Harrell Automotive and called for an update which was not immediately available and was told they would need to call me back. Approximately 5 minutes later I received a returned call stating that I needed a new engine which would be approximately $9,000. When I refused the repair, I also informed Harrell Automotive that I would be getting my car towed from their establishment on 11/2/2023 which I did. On 11/6/2023, I lifted the hood of my car for the first time and was shocked to see that nothing removed while doing the more extensive test was put back in place. When informing Harrel Automotive of this shocking discovery they originally asked if I could have the car towed back to them which I told them absolutely not. Then they stated that they would bring a technician to put things back in place, the process took less than 3 minutes which is concerning that either they didn't perform the more extensive test or that all the parts were not put back to its original state. Due to the uncertainty I decided to trade in the car and upgrade. This place is unacceptable and please beware of their service. I have photos I wish I could've added.

They deleted my review from 4 years ago so I am just posting it again, that way you all will have something to laugh at when they respond.Enjoy!I was referred here after hearing multiple good things. Everyone here is extremely warm and welcoming although that only goes so far. The communication between Harrell’s and customers is extremely poor. J**** would tell me one thing then someone else would have a completely different story. I was promised call backs about the status of the repair that I never received. After this occurring serval times I completely lost faith in Harrell’s.The service department; I felt as if they were disorganized due to not having the correct parts on time for my vehicle. I understand some things are out of our control but I wasn’t even given any type of apology for any of this inconvenience. In my opinion customers want accuracy, thoroughness, and proficiency. At Harrell’s I unfortunately was delivered the opposite.This review is solely my opinion and truly wish it was more positive but this was my honest experience I have since got my vehicle back and remain disappointed.

I got my car inspected and brakes done by them. Their care and attention to detail is outstanding. They have a very nice waiting room with drinks and snacks. Corey at the front desk was extremely nice and very helpful. I will forever go to them to get all my car needs done. When they were done, they even cleaned the driver side of my car!Services: General repairs & maintenance

I have never been to such an amazing place to get my car Inspected, number 1, The friendliness of the staff here is absolutely amazing. Jonathan was absolutely great super friendly and very good at explaining everything to me. Not to mention the beautiful waiting area they provide with water and coffee and snacks and TV. You really couldn’t ask for more. I would highly recommend anyone coming here if they need work done on their vehicle.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Being a 19 year old and getting my first brand new car, and having the motor go put me at a pretty low spot. After days of endless calls Mike and Tiffany accepted the job, claiming they can put a "good engine with under 9k miles" for around $8,800 (absolutely ridiculous pricing). With this being the first shop to accept the job with "Confidence" we accepted the service. After 2-3 weeks i got the call my vehicle was done and ready to get picked up. Apon driving off the lot, my brand new Civic Si with the "9k mile motor" was huffing smoke out of the exhaust anytime the car sat at a stop for over 10 second! We immediately reported this to Tiffany and Michael, they checked the car out and claimed it was residual oil from the old motor/new motor setting its seals. This was absolutely not the case. The car had basic bolt ons (Exhaust, Intake, Tune) all tuned professionally and before never smoking beforehand. After taking the car to another unnamed shop, we were told the turbo seals on the "Tested Motor" were bad. We got proof and took this back to Tiffany, and the treatment and backlash we received was horrid. This excuse of a auto shop claimed we were wrong and lying, and that the car was in fact okay. After weeks of pulling checks, arguments, and headache.. We decided to trust Tiffany and Michael's word quote"Any issues will be handled by myself personally (Mr Harrell) and assured us a warranty if any problems down the line"... boy was that a lie.6-8 months down the line (still consistently smoking) i turned my car on to the motor knocking. In the coming days we contacted Tiffany, who from the beginning continued to give the backlash and disrespect she's given since the beginning. We were told to bring the car in and have it checked out for warranty claims from the engine provider. This became a 3-4 month situation, being told different things everyday, and ending with the motor being voided from the warranty.Apon further investigation, we were able to figure out threw the State Attorney General, this motor was actually a recycled motor from a junkyard in PA. Tiffany lied to our faces and refusing to provide the required information. Claiming "The VIN is not given to us by our provider". And the State Attorney assured us this was not the case after contacting the supplier. Harrells also refused to give us said provider which is in violation of our consumer rights.Harrells Automotive continued to give us the option of fixing the car for over $9,000 or picking it up. After more time arguing, and us deciding to pickup the vehicle. Tiffany informs me they are charging us over $5000 in storage fees and they held the car hostage while legal action came into the air. After more and more time of talking to attorneys, our family, and the Millcreek Police (Who also claimed Harrells is known for being inhuman and indecent to there customers and we weren't the first or last). I unfortunately had to sign the car over to the bank. After my loan provided tried contacting Tiffany for some type of deal/payments we could work out. She completely denied or agreed to any potential deal between themselves and the bank. Harrells ended up taking my car from me for $1,000 and left me with a extra $12k+ in debt.I am only 21 years old and leaving reviews have never been my thing. But Harrells Automotive and the owner Tiffany Harrell are evil human beings. The lack of quality in their service, the absolute disrespect my grandparents and myself received as paying customers was disgusting. This company is known all around Erie for absolutely ruining people's situations. They have never and will never change. Reading through low rated reviews, Tiffany responds and argues the cases/reviews which is completely unprofessional. Left a very similar review on Facebook and was immediately blocked and the review was removed almost instantly.Long story short. Do. Not. Go. Here. You may receive the fake respect they have here, but from experience. These people are evil.

Absolutely the best auto repair shop in WNY and PA. They treat you like VIP, and there aren't machinacs who know how to correctly fix Land Rover's or BMW, Audi and Mercedes. Even if you do not have a luxury vehicle they will respectfully fix any vehicle the correct way and not just take your money. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you to all the folks & the owners at Harrell. ❤️????

I watch YouTube vids to do things to my vehicles because I really like to do what I can; change the oil, put on new side mirrors on, etc. I love that stuff. So of course I watch Scotty Kilmer, the Spatic Mechanic on Youtube because he is so smart and down to earth about cars. His most salient advice I have found thus far is " Avoid the Dealerships, they hire stupid green kids that mess up your car. Find yourself a reputable independent shop, and there is where you will get the greatest service."Of course Scotty was right, and that is how I found Harrells.I took my used 2013 Ford Escape I bought from a dealer, dings, scratches and all during Covid Lockdown when my main ride needed some serious work. I could not be without a ride. I was a life line for my kids in Pittsburgh, traveling to and from from Erie to Pittsburgh.Since my purchase, I was on the hook for several things to fix, because that's how the money rolls in. I was tired of this, get one thing fixed, two more things break a mile off the lot. I looked up Harrells from a mail flyer I got in my mail box because I had it! I was done with the dealership incompetence.Ladies & Gentlemen, I drove my Ford Escape Car home after getting it serviced from Harrells in far better condition than the day I bought it from the dealership.Everyone there is super nice and adorable (Yes, mechanics can be adorable) and my service rep Veronica was a life saver with regards to filing insurance for parts for the car.The fact remains that this is an excellent shop, and my ride was felt great on the roads I have travel to see my family.Take your ride to Harrells.They will do you right.Thank you Harrells...see you soon for my 2012 Ford truck! Great service and friendly staff! Would definitely recommend. I dropped my car off for an alignment and they gave me a list of recommended services that I should look into with total cost listed to each one. Making an appointment with them was quick and easy as well. Thank you for all your hard work!!!

Truly excellent service. Veronica is an amazingly kind, courteous and knowledgeable customer service representative. The mechanics and staff keep you posted on diagnostics in a timely manner, consult with the car owner in professional manner. They do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it and give excellent estimates, which they also stick to. This is the best place I have ever had a car serviced. Break lines went out in my car and no one could get me in for weeks. But Harrell's got me in that day. Great customer service.
