I really like this little thrift store! I think the prices are extremely fair and most of the items are in good shape. I paid 20 dollars for 6 items today. Clean, and has a fitting room available. My only complaint is their limited business hours, I wish I could stop in more often but I’ll always try to visit when I can!

Not coming back here. Things that were very worn out/dirty were over priced. And then what sealed my decision to not come back is I was purchasing a shirt that had a juniors size tag on it. Should have been 1.50 like all the other kids clothes but was charged adult price because I was told they don't have a juniors section but in the same breath acknowledged that juniors is a kid size. I've been a customer for awhile but clearly things have changed here. Lost my business. Edit to reply : juniors has always been a kids size of clothing. If you go to Walmart, target, boscovs etc; juniors is in the KIDS section because it's a kids size, not adult. I didn't misread any sign.

Overpriced, that seems to be a common theme among thrift stores lately.
Most of there customers seem to be the older generation which fits the bill, literally.
Today I saw an item that was clearly a DIY from dollar tree for $8
A cylinder $1 vase with hot glued $1 “fall leaves” Like these items are donated “FREE” items.. and to up charge nonsense like that is laughable.
An Aeropostale sweatshirt that appeared to be Atleast 12 years old (I would know, I was a teen when these clothes were popular )
Prices at $6 ?! I can’t tell if it’s a level of greed or total lack of recognition on just how old and honestly gross the item is?
Hopefully they get a lot of duffel bags donated for free to pack all their cash into.

It's truly sad that I have to leave a 1 star rating, but it's much deserved. I was an extremely frequent shopper at Green Scene since the day they opened, especially because I live just a block away. Each time I visited the store, I spent a minimum of $100 buying for myself and my business, and I never had any problems. The last time I visited was in February 2023, when I had a very large cart full to purchase. When I reached the counter, I asked the associate what the price would be on a doll I had found with no sticker. She took the doll and went into the back to get a price check for me, but never returned. So I moved myself and all of my items back to the end of the line and asked a different associate to find out what was going on for me. The first associate reappeared and asked me to step inside their employee area, so I did. She then accused me of "Pulling Tags," which I had to even ask what that meant. Apparently, she stated that two items in my cart did not have tags, and as she stated, "That just doesn't happen." At this point, I am beyond livid and in shock! I never realized that a stores incompetence to price their items would turn into an accusation of theft by their customer! The fact that the woman even had the audacity to accuse me of something without any reason or cause is just beyond me. People like that should not be working with the public, let alone manage a storefront. I stared at the woman in disbelief and told her she in no way, shape, or form, has any reason or right to be accusing me of anything! Needless to say, I left my $200 worth of items and the unpriced doll at that awful store , and truly hope the next innocent person who picks it up doesn't go through the same horrible behavior I did. Sadly, I will not return to this establishment and have mentioned my story to everyone I know who has shopped there in hopes the owner might realize how their employees are treating their paying customers!

I love this store!!! The workers there are very nice and welcoming. All of their merchandise is in good condition, and if it needs batteries, they write the right notes. They really do care and display stuff in a way that makes you want to buy more. Clothes are cheap, as well as everything else!! I highly recommend it, you won't be sorry.

This is my favorite thrift store. Everyone who works here is so helpful and kind. They are always getting new items and have a great selection to browse. The bonus is that they clearly care about making sure things aren’t just taken to the landfill, they truly care about the environment!
