Love this game store. The owners are very friendly and I love browsing through their cards. They have a nice open space with tables for tournaments or free play etc. If you collect any type of trading card or play DnD or other board games go check them out! Oh and bring quarters for the dice machines!

I just wanted to leave a review for 2 reasons 1 the last one about the lady being unprofessional and 2 because of how nice it is ! First of all the front lady is always super nice and offers any advice or knowledge or anything you ask for. She has always treated me very nicely and anyone I bring. 2 the place is so clean and organized is cool. They keep tables that people can use at anytime for free! A nice judgement free zone for me and my friends to play Pokémon and anything else we like! Such a great place HIGHLY recommend

Gateway and I have a long history. I remember as a kid that I would save up all my allowance money just to go down to the west erie plaza and spend it on yugioh sealed product. The atmosphere was magical. At the time, the owners knew how to build a community that was safe and entertaining.
Fast forward to the Gateway of today.... and it's a shadow of what it once was. From being a neighborhood staple, to now a depressing wasteland, Gateway has disappointed me. This is mainly due to the lady that works there. Every single time I go to this shop or call in, this chick is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I'm not sure if it's the stick up her butt, or lack there of, but it's to the point where I will not be purchasing any product from them again. And this is coming from someone who has been coming here for over 20 years. Regardless if the lady is working or not, every visit these last 6 months have been lack luster. Not a single hello, or how can I help. Utterly disgraceful. And to the lady that works there, I would read a book or attend a seminar and learn what it takes to be a business professional and customer service specialist. Yall lost good local business.

Another cool shop in town. It was kind of hard to find if you never been there. Store mostly focuses om board games. Tons of interesting board games on the shelves sp take your time looking around.

This place was ok to go to at first because the lady that works there usually greats you with a smile, but the past couple of times I went the guy with long hair has been there and seems to always be having a bad day. I took my 3 kids in pretty often and always spend close to or even over $100 sometimes even a couple hundred. You are running a business you would think definitely with kids and the new generation of collectors that you would be kind and welcoming. Also the prices for new product is just ridiculous, $90 for the newest yugioh set booster box when you guys are probably getting them for $40 a box. We have recently found game corps which has better prices and friendly environment. I would even rather drive to In the zone gaming in Ashtabula then go back to this place. Never again will I be back after my daughter commented about how mad the guy looked in the store.

Kids loved looking through the pokemon cards, cool little hole in the wall. Weird person standing outside and the staff wasn't the friendliest. Their randomized card vending machine was out of stock which is fine, there was TONS of cards to look through. Small little bugs landing on us in there, not sure what those were.

A cozy little hole in the wall! I absolutely loved it! If I would have had more time I would have bought a ton more bulk cards! $13 well spent!Prices are extremely reasonable too!

Unprofessional staff that was on their phones and rude. Honestly won't be back when there are better places in Erie that are friendlier.

Rude and inattentive staff on their phones. Won't go back again. Horrible first impression of the place. What a shame, since it seemed like a good venue for card games
