We had a wedding band that needed to go from a size 7 to a size 4. Shawn took on the challenge and did a wonderful job. We are extremely happy with the service we received, and will be taking all our jewelry needs here in the future.

Took my wedding rings to Shawn at Dahlkemper’s custom Jewelers on 12th street to be fixed. It had been previously worked on by an inexperienced jeweler and was damaged. Shawn was able to fix it like it was brand new! Best service ever!

Shawn has an obvious passion for his craft! He was able to perfectly fashion my fiancée's unique engagement ring to have space for her wedding band to fit underneath, when other jewelers had said it was not even possible. He also helped us find a wedding band that matched the style of her engagement ring perfectly and sized up my grandfather's wedding band to fit my finger. Shawn is amazing! He has repaired several pieces for us , sized rings , customized, and created the best gifts ! Dawn is super helpful and creative! She always has a smile and is ready to help . Shawn is a Certified Jeweler and does excellent work right at the store . I highly recommend this great local jewelry store .

Thank you so much for fixing my wife's engagement ring. I had purchased it for her 22 years ago from another jeweler. The original diamond had fallen out. Shawn seemed just as excited as I was to get it fixed. He was able to set the ring with a new head and diamond. It looked fantastic my wife was thrilled when I gave it to her for our Anniversary today.

We had originally gone to my local Jeweler in Fredonia, NY and we were disappointed for a number of reasons. We started searching around Erie for a non-corporate box-chain Jeweler and first reached out to Shawn who immediately replied and was happy to help. We ended up getting a ring re-sized and then buying our wedding bands from him. You couldn't ask for better customer service! He was very insightful, friendly, and accommodating—knew just what we were looking for. Dawn was also very friendly and pleasant to work with. We look forward to next time we have to stop in (by the way, make sure you go to the 12th Street location because the one on upper Peach Street is a competitor).

Shawn was amazing with helping tighten the loose stones on my ring. I was told by a previous jeweler (different business) that the stones weren’t loose. I took my ring to Shawn for a second opinion because I kept hearing jingling from the stones and he reassured me they were in fact loose and even showed me which ones were. It’s obvious he cares about any customer that walks through his door as he made me feel very relieved after fixing my ring. My ring wasn’t initially purchased from his store however his kindness and willingness to help me will guarantee I’ll be back for future purchases. I highly recommend seeing Shawn!!
