Kirsten Nichols went above and beyond what I wanted! She transformed my hair into a gorgeous blend of colors and I absolutely fell in love with it! I love my hair now and would recommend her services to anyone! She really listens and tries to understand exactly what her client wants. She gave me two very detailed/informative consultations before doing my hair. They were extremely helpful for me as I normally have a difficult time explaining what I want done with my hair! She really puts her soul into her work and is so very patient, kind, and understanding! Thank you for the great experience!

10/10 Would recommend Kirsten for hair color !! She took her time & made sure we went the healthy route going black to blonde . As well as Andrea the owner went above & beyond to make sure I loved my hair!! I will definitely be back for more color with Kirsten !!!

Excellent place to get a more alternative haircut! Bri has kept my shag looking fabulous for years now x) My Mom got an excellent dip manicure here as well! Highly recommend

GO TO THE BEAUTY BAR!
I am SO picky when it comes to my hair due to bad past experiences, but I’d trust Haley M. with my hair any day! Not only is she a wizard with hair dye & scissors, but she is incredibly patient and puts her all into every aspect of the salon experience. She really takes her time to listen to her clients during consultations to make sure you leave with exactly what you came in for. I was so impressed with not only her, but by the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff as well. Not to mention super clean work environment with a cozy & welcoming atmosphere!!
10/10 would recommend the Beauty Bar and Haley M. for all hair & beauty needs!

Amanda does my eyelash extensions and maintenance fills....she is fantastic!! I've been to other local salons til I found her and won't go anyplace else...very professional, excellent retention. I feel beautiful every day because my lashes look beautiful ? Amanda also does a wonderful facial....so relaxing and my skin looked/felt fabulous!!!

I will never visit this establishment after what they did to my Christian friend, simply for wearing a Christian tee shirt. My friend wore a "Take Back the ?" shirt to her appointment and the next day received an email stating that ALL her future appointments were cancelled because ONE customer was OFFENDED by this shirt. No discussion, no mediation, just kicked to the curb because they want to be a "friendly & inclusive" environment. Doesn't sound too friendly or inclusive to me! I hope all my Christian friends & all my AWAKE friends boycott this business. I'm tired of us Christians always being asked to take the higher road. My friend did NOTHING but exercise her God-given right to free speech via a shirt & this is how this business responded. Same on you, Beauty Bar! I will never step foot in your establishment & I hope none of my friends will either.

Asked multiple times if they were comfortable cutting curly hair especially because I was going SHORT. Started in confident and halfway through the cut she gave up, blamed it on the hair product, sent me out with an incomplete cut and then wanted to schedule me with the “educator” a week later. They were nice enough but the salon owner should be absolutely embarrassed that she let someone walk out with the cut I had without even making an attempt to fix it. Fortunately I was able to go somewhere else and salvage it. Do not go here if you have curly hair they have absolutely no idea what to do with it.

I have never been so disgusted with a service as today. My daughter went to get her hair and specifically asked if they had experience doing curly hair. The stylist said she specializes in it! She not only didn’t know how to cut curly hair she could even make a straight part!!! She cut not knowing what to do. She left her several times to get help. This stylist actually couldn’t even finish her. The MANAGER TOLD MY DAUGHTER TO COME BACK THURSDAY!!! So the educator could help. To let someone leave their business that is in the business to make people feel beautiful and you allowed a licensed professional to do this to someone is beyond me! Embarrassing to all the professionals in this business! The Manager had no respect for herself her staff or the business to allow someone to leave hysterically crying!! You created this nightmare. You must do better! You have the power to destroy someone and you have the privilege to build someone up! Guess what this whole business chose today! Beauty Bar YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! also this stylist has NO BUSINESS STANDING BEHIND THE CHAIR.

I wanted to take a moment to respond to the comments posted about taking the Rainbow Back shirt and provide some context, because it seems like you're centering yourself.
I understand that the historical significance of your shirt is important to you but unfortunately other clients expressed feeling uncomfortable and it's a responsibility of this business to ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere for all. They hold the right to refuse service and instead of making it about you, think about how your actions made other people feel and what difficult position it put this business owner in. I'm sure there are other establishments that cater to Christian views. However, this establishment is focused on being inclusive and safe for all.
I have been with the Beauty Bar since the day their doors have opened. I cannot say enough great things about the business. They truly take care of their clients.

I’m happy to see that beauty bar is standing up for all people. There seems to be an issue with someone wearing a very disrespectful shirt about anti gays and another customer went to the company about it. Weather you gay or straight we all need to be treated as equals and it’s not okay to make someone feel bad. Good job beauty bar. ?

A customer did not like my rainbow shirt.So they cancelled my appointments, and dont want me there. With our even seeing the shirt or asking me about. Just acted on here say. Very unprofessional.Never called for my side, never actually saw the shirt, never asked me not to wear it, didn't even sign the email notifying me out of the blue.Rainbow has been a sign for four thousand years for Jews and Christians. Some have stopped wearing it since it was culturally appropriated but they can start again if they add the biblical reference.

Kristin V. did my hand-tied & tape-in extensions. She is the absolute best I’ve been to in Erie! She really knows what she is doing, and she does not take forever. She is very professional & is certified. (There are some salons that offer hand-tied services, but their stylists are not certified, so make sure to do your homework. I learned that the hard way.) I can’t recommend her enough!

I go to see Hailey, the environment as a whole is amazing! Everyone is so kind and professional I wouldn't go anywhere else!
