Zero stars. I have a broken arm and needed some assistance getting my hair washed and straightened. I was treated so rudely from the minute I walked in the door. I was rushed, and my hair was destroyed. Marcy combed through my coarse hair with a thin comb, and pretty much broke every single strand of my hair. She gave me a migraine with how aggressively she ripped through my hair. Their straightening iron looks like it is from 1920 and it is all brown, which also contributed to destroying my hair. When I called to complain, the owner, Cindy was extremely rude and hung up on me. Unless you are over the age of 65, they will treat you like you are a complete piece of trash, rush, you out, destroy your hair and then be rude to you on top of it. I am so sorry that I inconvenienced you by making an appointment, showing up on time and paying my bill. How rude of me.

My mom has been patronizing New Image for years and years, and I had my first opportunity to stop in recently. This salon is a small location in a small strip of businesses. It can be easy to drive by it as the entrance is a little hidden. The salon has a number of specialty gift type items like jewelry and accessories, in addition to several walls of hair care and beauty products. There is a small children's play area and the clientele seemed to vary in age. My mom is elderly and definitely a hair challenge. However in about an hour or so her long time stylist, Penny, had her hair colored cut and styed and a bit of waxing. It all looked fabulous! The cost however, was half what I pay for a similar service in a higher end salon. I think Penny has the skill to command higher prices, but it may be the customer base does not allow for that. I can also attest that the cut and style my mom receives is well maintained until the next visit. I imagine this is the case for others receiving their hair care services here.

Excellent salon! The stylists are very talented and keep up with the latest trends. I've been going to this salon for 30+ years, and I've had my hair done by many of the gals. They are very friendly and enjoy what they do.
