I went there and everything was fine on my return. The lady offered to go over last years tax return for any wrong doing. I dropped it off April 16 when tax season would be over. It was now end of April never heard back from anyone. I called and was told Nancy is going to do it Monday. Monday came and went and no phone call. Called again got the run around again and nothing happened. My husband called, it’s now May 22 and he was told they don’t know where it but will talk to Nancy but can see it was not done. I go over there personally to find that Nancy is on furlow for the last two weeks and someone from the reading office is there cleaning up. He finds my return and says he will do it by Friday bc they are closed Thursdays. Weill it’s now sat and I never received a call back from I think his name was Mike and now they are closed till wed. It’s a shame bc when doing my return Nancy was great but I guess if it’s a free service they offer they don’t care and will give you misinformation and never actually do it.

We have been getting taxes done here for a number on of years. Originally this was a 5 star rating.Last year the office was very disorganized and in the middle of a move to a different location. That part I can understand, but our tax agent of several years had overlooked a form in the folder of documents and told us we had forgotten it. The fact that it was there all along combined with curt remark was very off putting.The following year I received a letter from tax collection stating I had not filed local tax. When I tried to call the HR Block office about this I couldn't get through, no answering service at all. When I stopped in to ask about the letter the reception was in my opinion very discourteous and abrupt. I was dismissed with out any real answer other than " we will take care of this." " Goodbye now".And yes, that is verbatim.Two stars for other years of much better service and courtesy. This past year experience has me doubting if I will return.
