I can't say enough positive things about Cupboard Maker Books; it embodies everything a bookstore should be. Their extensive collection is a treasure trove, I particularly love their date night books and local authors section. The staff is both knowledgeable and fun to chat with, and the building itself is uniquely charming.Their passion for books is equaled only by their love for cats. If the books don't draw you back, the resident cats—Mouse, Odin, and Annika—certainly will. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a bookstore!

I love bookstores & this one is special if you like cats. It's so huge, almost warehouse size, but books are arranged by genre & also alphabetical. Plus the staff is extremely knowledgeable & can help you find specific authors. My daughter & I spent over 2 hrs & bought 7 books. I'll go back.

Wish we weren't over an hour away. Unfortunately I can't remember the women my girls and I spoke with because she was AMAZING! She had so many recommendations for myself and my teen. I loved being able to go into a bookstore that I could talk to about the books I've read and see what they tell me to check out next. We will definitely make the trip to go back again. Oh and I'm not a cat person but LOVED mouse (?) the cat. It was so friendly and my youngest spent the whole time just playing with her.

this place is so amazing and magical! my favorite bookstore for sure. the cats are perfect and so sweet. so so so many books, great selection.I could spend a whole day here. they organize a bit more broad/differently than other stores, so if it's your first time give some extra time for searching around.
