My wife and I just returned from our first ever stay at the Hygrade Inn, and we loved it. The owners did a beautiful job renovating the house with modern features in the rooms while maintaining the historic charm. Every room we were in was clean and well decorated. We really enjoyed spending some time in the evening on the front porch. Jim was very helpful and made sure we had a pleasant stay. We will be back!

We spent our 35th wedding anniversary here for two nights. Jim and Matt are wonderful hosts. Our breakfast and dinner were amazing, we dined in elegance on the front porch one evening and loved it so much. Our room was clean and decorated wonderfully..as was the entire home! We can't wait to return again soon!!

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay at The Hygrade Inn. We stayed in the Gibson room. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. You have your own heating/air conditioning unit to adjust the temperature to your liking. The entire home is beautifully decorated. Very clean. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Jim was a fantastic host. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I have had the honor of staying at the Hygrade on 3 different occasions. We loved it so much we decided to get married here December 2022! We came back this December 2023 to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. Jim and Matt are amazing hosts. The very detailed, hilarious, they keep the rooms SPOTLESS, and offer the most delicious breakfast. We love it here and are counting down the days until we get the chance to go back!

This place is BEYOND beautiful. This was my first B &B experience, and I feel spoiled now, nothing else in the future will compare. A beautiful historic house, immaculately decorated, and high-end rooms furnished with the best amenities. Breakfast was fabulous—cooked to order for each individual visitor with gourmet quality. The Hygrade Inn may be a bit off the beaten path, but the detour is worth it! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Our first stay at a BNB.The hosts, Jim and Matt, are accommodating, knowledgeable, and fantastic hosts.The Hygrade Inn is beautifully appointed. The Inn is well kept and emaculent. It is clean and comfortable. We felt welcomed. We are laid back, hikers and geocachers. We did not feel out of place.We were caught in pouring rain while hiking, and the hosts were so gracious. A must stay BNB!Highly recommend. We appreciate Jim and Matt.Rooms: The rooms are exquisite and comfortable. They are well appointed with attached gorgeous bathrooms.Nearby activities: We loved hiking and geocaching the Hamnersly Wild Area. Hiked 15+ miles in 2 days.The rails to trails are close enough to bike or walk to.There are several other hiking areas nearby.Food & drinks: The breakfast selection is fantastic, and Jim is an awesome chef.We chose to have dinner here two nights during our stay. Jim accommodated a Keto diet and offered cauliflower rice sautéd and keto chocolate mousse. Outstanding!!!He also makes his own pasta noodles. The Keto and Regular Marsala are 5☆ dishes!

We had a great stay. Jim is very friendly and prepares a great breakfast. Rooms are cozy, sitting rooms are beautiful and the front porch is a great sit for a nightcap. We will return!Rooms: Clean and comfortable.Food & drinks: Great breakfast.

Everything about our stay was perfect. From communication confirming our reservation to being personally greeted at the front door. (not sure he greets everyone, but my inept ability to work a door brought Jim to the rescue). Jim could not have done any better and he cooks and serves a great breakfast And our room (Shippen) was perfect. The shower will blow you away.It's a must place to stay if you find yourself in the area.

LOVED staying here! I was traveling home for business and this was great place to stay! The blueberry pancakes and bacon were sooo good! The decor inside is beautiful! I wanted to take everything home with me lol Jim was also fantastic! Very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back!
