“This is a long over due review and I felt I should share my experience now that I have been driving the car for the last 2 years!!
Two years ago, we were looking for a VW beetle convertible for our daughter and we ended up finding one at Penn American. I stopped by and did a test drive and liked the car (I have never been to this dealer before). Although the car was reasonably priced, Matt dropped the price a bit and we ended up buying the car. The car came with 30-day warranty, which I didn't think too much about it.
However, when I took the car to get the NJ state inspection, it failed! I took the car back to Penn American hoping that they would honor the warranty. That was the time I met Kate for the first time, who immediately told me that they of course would honor the warranty and said she will handle it from there onward, which she did fabulously.
She sent the car to a near by shop and asked them to fix everything so that the car would be very reliable (for our daughter) and pass the inspection. The main issue was the faulty instrument panel which was obsolete. So Kate spent a lot of time trying to locate one anywhere in the US. It took about 3 months to get the instrument panel and to fix all other underlying issues to get the state inspection passed. I truly feel Kate spent more money than what I have paid for the car but they honored their word. Since then we have been driving this car for the last two years without any issues. Penn American would be my first place to go if I ever looking for a used car. Many thanks Kate and Matt for getting us a nice car for our daughter.”
