I'm not really sure how I feel about this place. We were in the area and did a Google search for antique stores near us . This was the closest that was supposedly open. When we got there, the doors were closed and a "closed" sign was on the porch so we started to leave. As we were getting in the car, a guy calls to us and says it should be open. He and another guy discuss it and can't seem to agree on if it's open or not. They finally decide that, yes, they're open. They seemed friendly enough but we got a really creepy vibe from them. Had there not been other customers stopping, we probably would've left.
Inside, there were a lot of interesting old items but it was very dark, dusty, and so messy, it seemed more like an old abandoned house once lived in by hoarders than an antique store. However, that look plus the weird vibes we picked up from the... owners? employees? whoever they were, made for a unique, mildly creepy experience that was, in hindsight, kind of fun.

This place is lotsa fun to check out! It's located in a cool, old building woth a mezzanine and a basement to explore as well. Bonus points for the adorable chickens and the tortoise kitty wandering in the back! And Jeff is great about making a bargain for you. Highly recommend!

Jan 2023 the owner and her son passed, call before you go to make sure they are open, often they are closed during stated business hours, i think her other sons took over the shop?, they have great stuff and reasonable prices, the building use to be a general store. The previous owners were very friendly and even took me on a personal tour of the basement where the overflow items are located.( normally off limits to the public )

We were near the area looking for antique shops, arrived during business hours posted on website and they were closed. Waste of time... please update your business hours so others don't waste time and gas.

Good place & good people!
The now-owner was enthusiastic and great to talk to. He had so many stories about his mother's business and was flexible with pricing. The store has so much more than what meets the eye and EVERYTHING is for sale! No frustrating "NFS" signs on every fixture!
I can't wait to return as soon as possible. This was an amazing spontaneous trip.

He shared all sorts of stories about different antiques and the history of the store which used to be a general store. So cool! It was the highlight of our weekend. We will be back!

We drive by because google indicated they are open on weekends. But the sign on the door said closed. So I don't know. But the store looked interesting.
