“Jessica and Jeoung were wonderful! My wife and I went to BDK Mint to help us plan our paebak, and make us some custom hanbok. The result was incredible. Jessica planned the whole ceremony, walked us through it, helped us prepare (shout out to Sylvia too!), setup a wonderful setting and MC'ed the whole ceremony to keep all my non-korean side of the family understanding what was going on.The custom hanboks made by Jeoung were amazing, and fantastic craftsmanship. While I thought I looked pretty damn good, my wife looked stunning. The whole process of helping pick the design and fabrics and everything was a great time, and they were very patient with us and make all the time needed to help us get the perfect outfits for the perfect day!”

“It was nearing time to close when I knocked on the door of Optima Jewelers. My rings were too tight and I had been looking for someone to help. Rob answered the door, turned all the lights on, and took a look at my hand. I said I can come back when you have more time. He said no, it should come off. He so kindly took a tool and opened the band of the ring after spending a good amount of time sawing it open careful not to hurt me. Here's a guy who took 1/2 hour of his time, did not charge me a cent, and removed the offending rings. You can bet I will be having this kind jeweler, Ron Ly, do the repairs for the re-sizing. He kept the store open after closing to help me, who he did not know, and did not even ask my name. Who does this in this day and age?”

It was a ballgown with a lot of beading, several layers and a long train, and they did an amazing job taking it in, hemming, and making a bustle that was easy figure out on the day and really looked great. “I made an appointment to try on wedding dresses and met with Bethany. She was amazing. Super low stress, 0 pressure, and helped me find different options that were in keeping with my preferences and budget. I have a while before my wedding and am going to think about it for a while, but they have beautiful gowns that surely would cost a lot more bought from a regular bridal shop—all were really high quality. I was a bit anxious going in that I would be pressured to make a decision on the spot or to try on dresses I wasn’t into, and that was not at all the case. I also appreciated that Bethany was very knowledgeable about wedding dresses, how they’re structured, and what alterations would or would not make sense with the dresses I looked at — she answered all my questions patiently, which I appreciated as this is not my wheelhouse. My entourage and I arrived a little early for our appointment, but we we were welcomed in and allowed to start browsing the racks until our bridal consultant was ready for us.
