This pharmacy is AWFUL, as are most giant pharmacies. Simply read the other reviews. The lady at the prescription counter today was incredibly rude. I noticed someone from the pharmacy responds to poor reviews and apologizes for the bad experience. Stop apologizing and start making changes. You have 2.8 stars on google review. Obviously it’s not getting through to you.

Poor customer service. I stopped at the pharmacy to pick up my son’s prescription and they didn’t have it ready. They told me it would be at least 30mins so I said I would come back later (no big deal). She TOLD me to call first to make sure they had it. I’ve tried to call several times and when they answer, instantly say “hold please.” They never get back on the line and have hung up on me each and every time without ever being able to actually talk to someone. I understand they’re busy but come up with a better system if you tell your customer to call first. Do better!

Awful!!! During acute diverticulitis flare up my doctor called in my prescription early afternoon. I called pharmacy 5 hours later to see it was ready. No call back. Following day my son goes to pick it up and They tell him they are out and won't have it until 2 more days. I had to have Rx transferred to different location and Giant pharmacy made it very difficult. I called to ask why no one notified me yesterday and told them they lost a customer and they hung up on me!!! So UNPROFESSIONAL

I’ve been using this pharmacy for a few months now and they have taken the time to help me get the cheapest price for medication every time. They have never rushed me and have always been so nice.

Today, I received my flu immunization at Giant Elizabethtown. Full disclosure, unless you have a Registered Nurse, I am leery about receiving immunizations. However, Mike, the Pharmacy Intern, is awesome. He started Pharmacy school during the beginning of the COVID pandemic. He had great technique. Mike has great interpersonal (customer) skills. Mike decreased my anxiety & really made getting an immunization. If Mike is the future of the retail pharmacy profession, it will be in good hands.

I have been using this pharmacy since I was a child. My family fills multiple prescriptions there monthly, but unfortunately, within the past couple years, I have had nothing but issues every single time I go in there. During a previous experience, I was lied to straight to my face by the pharmacist, which was confirmed for me by my insurance company. Many other times they have run things incorrectly through their system, making it very difficult and time-consuming to get my medication’s which should be a simple process. But today was my final breaking point. Today I went in to fill a prescription that I fill there every single month, and every single month they tell me that they don’t have enough pills to fill the full prescription, and they give me a partial until they can order the rest. But today Eric refused to help me. When I asked him why he would not give me a partial fill to get me through until the rest arrived he said “ we don’t do partial fills for controlled substances here”. I told him that was a lie, because they do it for me every month, and his response was “I am not willing to do it for you. I am the pharmicist, the pharmacist makes that decision, and I don’t want to”. Not only was his tone and words extremely rude, but how can you just pick and choose who you want to provide a service like that for? One pharmacist will do it for me and another at the same location will not? Sorry, but that kind of inconsistency is discriminatory among everything else in this situation that was not right. He never gave me a solid explanation as to why he refused me me when his counterparts never have. The funny thing is I immediately went across the street to Weis where I told them what had happened, they laughed and said “you’re not the only one”. Weis was extremely kind and had no problem helping me with a partial fill. But this clearly was not the first time they’ve heard a story like this about Giant. That should say something. It is a pain to switch everything over to another pharmacy, but at this point, I am willing to deal with that I want nothing to do with the pharmacy anymore. I am so tired of the headache and the incompetence, and rude staff, every single time I go in there. It’s just not worth it anymore. Don’t waste your time.

Wish I could give no stars. Been waiting 2 days for my medicine and they did get it in thus morning but it seems they bumped me to the end of the line as far as filling it. Do they not understand that people need their meds or do they just not care. They have no business being in customer service or playing with peoples lives.

Always packed medicine refills take hours under staffed and to long of a wait time I suggest pick a different pharmacy.

The store was fully stocked on this very busy New Years Eve and the staff were accommodating. I was traveling from Hershey and I wasn't sure if I'd make it to my Giant in Exton before they closed. I found everything I needed (and then some.) The line at self-checkout was at least 20-people deep and there still were about 10 cashiers on the registers. While I was waiting, a young gentleman opened another line and I walked right up. He was very efficient and he explained that they've been busy all day. He was friendly and let me know how many gas points I had, which was the other reason I had stopped at this Giant. Thank you Devin for helping make the experience much easier and enjoyable.

I picked up my prescription this evening and asked what information I needed to provide since it was under Worker’s Compensation. The pharmacist asked if I had my claim number and insurance company information. I had the information on my phone ready to give it to her. She stated I needed to “print out the information” in order for her to put the information in. She said it would be a long process and insinuated that I wouldn’t be able to pick up my necessary prescription today then. I paid for it on my debit card and asked what should I do in the future for my Worker’s Compensation. The employee that checked me out said I just needed to write down the information. I was furious that they couldn’t just have said that from the beginning. I could tell I was nothing but an inconvenience to this pharmacist because it would have been more paperwork for her. I work in health care and this is absolutely unacceptable especially since I was injured while helping a patient. This should have gone through Worker’s Compensation but I had to pay for it out of pocket because of laziness from this pharmacist.
