“We loved our time at our Shady Oak apartment and highly recommend! The staff was great with communication and answering our questions. Maintenance was quick to respond to items when needed. We were highly impressed by the upkeep of the grass, mulch, etc. In the winter time, sidewalks were cleared and salted in a timely manner. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to live!”

“Front office staff is awesome! Tina is very friendly and efficient and made our move in very easy. This complex is both family friendly, quiet, and well maintained. Our home is very spacious, with a great size patio, just enough space for our 3 kids. I would absolutely recommend Rivermoor to anyone in need of a great apartment with an even greater staff!:)”

“Clean and updated apt, newbie review. Pricey, but any decent place is. We moved here hoping it would be quiet- pretty much is, so far. First full day off, and didn't think about the garage units next to us, available to rent. Several hours of car work and banging, looks like all four wheels are being replaced so hopefully it's not an ongoing thing with the garage areas.”

“Beth was a sweetheart upon check in. She was multitasking as I was checking in but still acknowledged my presence with a smile. A bed and hot shower is all I really needed to get by. My only negative I wish they had a bigger fridge and better locks. They do have cameras on each floor and well lit parking.”
“I've lived here for 5 months so far and I've loved it.Pros:- Private pool and gym- Cafe next door- Beautiful pond and horizon views- Spacious apartments- Updated appliances- Washer/Dryer in unit and dishwasher- Reliable electricity/water, efficient heating/cooling- Plenty of parking- Safe area, 5 minutes from townCons:- Can hear neighbor's dogs often- Chalky matte paint on the walls that scuffs easily- Carpet everywhere except kitchen/bathrooms (personal preference)- Master bedroom door covers master bath (weird layout)- Garbage truck comes multiple times a week and is very loudOverall, my gripes are very minor and I would highly recommend this apartment to those looking to live in Mount Joy!”
