Kirk was patient, and got my car in on a Saturday Morning. I Uber drive and the repair was important for me. The price was very fair and the guys finshed the job quick. They explained the process and price before begining the work and even did a courtesy inspection for free. 5 Stars! Car is as quiet as new again.

I came here cause I only have 4000 miles to check my car for warranty so the dealership can pay for it if there’s work that needs to be done . So that way I’m not stuck paying for itBut the team here didn’t want to even do that. They said it was a hassle and the warranty company is hard to work with. They just told me to go home and check that issue myself: IM DISABLED.. so no I can’t get on my back to check my vehicle for problems…I called my warranty company and told them that y’all refused to check my vehicle for my warranty claim…The only other company I could have gone to, is 45 /50 mins away….So I gave Monroe’s a chance to do the right thing even after the dude said go home and check it myself…So I came back and wanted to get my state inspection and to check for that issue I had and my overall performance of the vehicle; (STATE INSPECTIONS ARE NOT THE SAME THING AS LOOKING OVER THE VEHICLE FOR ISSUES THAT ARE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY)they finished the state inspection ; but didn’t even check my vehicle performance or the issue I had a problem with… which I wanted done cause I only have so much time for the warranty to cover it……they just told me only one wiper blade needed to be replaced (this is a brand new car off the dealership parking lot so uh yea that’s weird)I felt like they just said that so they can get more money out of me.They ended up charging me for BOTH wiper blades totaling over $60.You can buy 2 wiper blades for around $30…Not to mention they Left metal on one of the wiper blades… which could have scraped my windshield if I didn’t notice it…I got ripped the F off..If you go here they will get ya for an arm and a leg and/or they won’t want to do any work that’s too much of a burden for them. This is my last time going to Monroe’s :/I tried to give y’all another chance. And I only went here cause it’s the only place my warranty accepts .. soYea thanks for screwing me out of the only time to get things replaced and covered by warrantySeriously tough… if you’re a good car mechanic you know everyone who buys a new vehicle should ALWAYS get them looked over by a mechanic…If you guys aren’t even willing to do that and Mke sure someone got a vehicle that they weren’t getting ripped off on.. then what’s the point of y’all being in business ?If ya don’t wanna help ppl, work somewhere else

Rude management had to accept a later time for a appointment that only took 30 minutes. Tire switchover is all it was. Manager was just sitting around in garage area smoking a cigar.

Will NOT go back. I like t give the benefit of doubt, however this manager deserves nothing of the kind. I had called for a quote and gave the specs of my vehicle. When the service was done it was nearly 3x the quote. Ok, fine, it was a different oil however I gave the specs of my car when scheduling and getting the quote. The manager (or desk clerk) was so very RUDE. No apology for the wrong quote. I felt extremely mistreated. When back in my car I noticed down the road that the sticker mileage was completely wrong. Ok it was a mistake so I simply called to see when I should get my oil changed again…at 3000, 5000 miles…what? The manager that treated me poorly chuckled and only said “well (laugh) when that light comes on that says change oil. That is when you get it changed again”. I explained that the mileage was wrong on the sticker and he said “Again when the little light comes on.”Simply on the way I was treated I WILL NOt return to this location and maybe never again to any Monro location.Highly recommend to steer clear of this place unless you like to be treated poorly.Oh…and when I arrived and said I was there for an oil change he went to check the engine specs and get mileage when it was parked and he promptly said “I don’t know what you are thinking but I cannot inspect this vehicle.” (The sticker reads July)… well I was not there for an inspection and we just previously discussed the oil change and tire rotation only. This place has issues!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I just feel I was over a barrel to get a $160 tire!! Cambridge tire could've done it for less than half that!

Chris and Gary were very professional. They helped my daughter who is a few hours away from home. They repaired her vehicle and went the extra step to arrange to return the vehicle to her after she tested positive for COVID. She was unable to pick her vehicle up.

I was taken as a walk-in with a flat tire. I was treated promptly, fairly, and respectfully. I recommend this business to others in the area.

I'm going to try to use respectful but frank words here. I didn't think they treated me fairly. They acted like I knew nothing and they could tell me anything to get me to buy tires. I have extensive experience with changing/repairing tires. He was flat out lying when he told me my tire(in for flat repair) was not legal anymore and needed replaced. And because the car is all wheel drive, I need all 4 of them replaced. The tires are overpriced too. Pretty dirty if you ask me.

Had a set of tires mounted by monroe. Had balance beads put in that I provided. They had dumped the entire packaging into the tire without checking. The new valve stems and caps that come with the counter mass balance bead kit was found inside my tires and had damaged one of my tire pressure sensors.Would not recommend them.

Gary and his tech did a great job getting my rear brakes and rotors changed. They were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule and get them changed out quickly so I could go to work. I was very pleased with the work and will be going there again.

In the beginning of January my college students had no brakes. They stopped at Monro in Edinboro. They were told a Caliper was leaking. They were given a price of 800.00 and called me. I spoke to the Manager (?) who told me that was the price. We had no choice as they needed the car and had it had to be done. After I got the receipt, I went online and discovered that Monro offers 3 levels of brake service, I was never given the option and obviously automatically sold the Platinum service. I did more digging and found out they they way overcharged on the parts. I used to be a mechanic so I know how it works. There are 2 parts stores in that area. Prices for them were close, only a 20.00 difference in total. Below is a breakdown of what I was charged, what I should have been charged for platinum and what I would have purchased.I contacted Monro customer service who listened to my story and called the shop. The shop offered to change out the parts for Silver service and refund me 100.00. or I could get an estimate to price match. we will see how that goes. Be very careful if you end up at this shop.Price Break down (This is with the higher of the 2 prices and parts only)ChargedPads 149.99Calipers 244.99Total 394.99 Cost platinumPAds 61.99Calipers 227.98toalo 289.97 -105.02Cost what should have beenPads 41.99Calipers 227.98Total 269.97 -125.02

My wife and I both took our cars here in the last year. Hers started making loud noises whenever she stopped the car. When I pulled off the wheel, I found the bolts on the brake caliper were loose and I noticed the nut holding the hub in place was stripped. I took it to a reputable shop and they found problems with every component installed by Monroe. I recently had my car in for an inspection at the same reputable shop and the wheel bearing installed by Monroe 12 months earlier was not done correctly. The mystery noise that I couldn't find after Monroe did their work is now gone. In addition after Monroe worked on my car, I had to shampoo the seat, console, and door panel as they got grease all over them. If you want to pay too much for shoddy work, take your car here. At least the "mechanics" seemed to be good at taking breaks and smoking pot...
