I always call to check if they have my medication before having it filled. And twice now they lye to me and tell me they have it when they don’t and then tell me they are expecting a shipment in a couple days or so! How do they expect me to go without my medication for a couple days???I hate lies, just bad business!!!

Just had a horrible experience with Jaelynn. I’m from SC visiting. Returned an item that I bought in SC (wasn’t used) and noticed the return did not include the 8% tax. I asked her and she said CVS doesn’t return taxes. I knew that wasn’t true. Then she told me that if I wanted to get my taxes I would have to repurchase the item and return it bc she could not void the refund she already gave.Asked for a manager and she said no one would be in until 4 and that person would not know what to do so I would need to call corporate. I asked for the number she said she didn’t have it and I would have to look it up online. I asked her why she couldn’t look it up online? I am the customer and I am having to do all the work to get something I should’ve gotten. Asked for the store number so I could call after 4 to speak with the other manager and she said that manager was new and wouldn’t know what to do so they would just call the upper manager. I asked why she didn’t just call him. She said because he is on vacation and he would ask her why she was calling him so early. I told her to tell him that a CUSTOMER needed a solution to this problem of not getting my taxes back that I paid for. She said that I should’ve told her that I bought it in SC. (How was I supposed to know CVS doesn’t know that when they scan the receipt?) Then she told me she would call him but she had to go open the till for the pharmacy first and then she would come back to me and she had so much to do to open the store. I said I would wait. Then she apologized to the other woman for hAving to wait (I’m the one who told her to ring up the woman so she wouldn’t have to wait on us to resolve this) making it seem like I was the problem. After ALL the unnecessary time of Jaelynn telling me everything she could not do, a professional woman named Nicole came from the back somewhere, asked me about the problem and in less than 2 minutes gave me the number to corporate and told me what would be needed. It may not have been a lot of money but it was MY money and the lack of empathy, apology for her mistake and lack of customer service caused me to write this review. I could’ve understood her apologizing, letting me know she hadn’t done it before and offering to help me work it out. I would not have written this review if she had.

CVS in Edinboro, Pa. Is a small town delight. The employees always are helpful and pleasant, in the pharmacy and store!

Cvs was go to pharmacy until now. I have a chronic pain condition called RSD. Pharmacist refused to fill my Rx because " he didn't feel comfortable". I was so embarrassed & felt like I was trying to do something shady. He needs to quit playing Dr and learn how to talk to customers appropriately. I am done with CVS

Man the store, hire some people. Stop forcing us to use the self checkout. I checked out at the pharmacy rather than use the machine. The person there was great. Atop the brutal cost cutting, or maybe give a little less to your CEO???

Had a Covid test scheduled for my daughter for last Monday 10/3 at 3 pm. Instructions were to go to the drive thru and wait but when we got there the drive thru was closed. Went into the store WITH a mask on to ask where to go and was rudely told “you shouldn’t even be in here “ . He instructed me to wait outside and someone from the pharmacy would call my cell. 10 minutes later he came out and said “we aren’t doing the tests today OR tomorrow . Sorry “. They knew they weren’t able to do the test but never called to advise us ahead of time. Totally ignorant way to treat customers.

If you are on medicaid, do not come here. You will be harassed every time, they will act like you're a burden, and it will overall be a terrible experience. I tried to provide them with my medicaid card today, and they refused to look at it. One of the women even yelled at me, shouting with attitude, "it's gonna be 10 dollars, your medicaid is on file". So I paid because it's a heart medication that I need and couldn't go without. I called my insurance who called cvs, who, in fact, did not have my insurance on file. Funny, they said they did. Now they're going to call my insurance to get the proper info. First, though, as was stressed to me, they HAD to go on lunch RIGHT THEN. She cut me off multiple times in the call. I am shaking writing this. They do not care about you especially if you are struggling, and apparently have never experienced it themselves.

This review is for the pharmacy. I don't know if they're incompetent or just understaffed, but there's always a long line (and a long wait). So, why do I go here? Because the pharmacy at Giant Eagle is even worse.

Pharmacy is horrible at keeping track of prescriptions. Staff does not consistently or correctly document dr instructions nor anything I tell them about my prescriptions (I.e. an allergy is discovered and reported but they refill prescription anyway)

Got my COVID test here today. Was given the patience and support I needed why giving myself a literal lobotomy with a cotton swab. May or may not have cried. Felt NO judgement (so appreciated). It's already intimidating NEEDING a test, especially when you've been isolated and haven't seen another person for 5 days... Y'know AND feel like a criminal for leaving your house while possibly harboring a deadly virus that could kill anyone you come into contact with. LET ALONE trying to figure where you're supposed to go and what you're supposed to do to get tested, when your entire body is in AGONY, you can't breathe, and you just want to be home asleep. Anyway shout out Edinboro CVS, you're a real one.

Convenience stores tend to be more expensive, but if you know how to work the coupons you can get some pretty sweet deals. I respect the parent corporation too, for stopping the sale of cigarettes - a bold move.
