Called to ask about my account and was met with the same answer not being reworded or explained differently to me then when I tried to say bye and to have a great day, she just hung up on me like she was glad to be off the call. Literally just calling to ask about my money and it’s her job to help people but they clearly don’t want to help us cause I ended the call just as confused as I had started it.

Arrogant employees, think they are the best. Wouldn't even trade in 20s for bigger bills because I don't have a account with them. If I could give a lower rating I would.

The Ebensburg Branch treated myself and my friend very rude didn’t want to answer are question was very smart when the did if I can I call customer service 800 phone number the have been respectful to me

So my account is closed because I haven’t used it for a while I understand that the reason why they I giving them one str is because the check I wanted to cash was written on so now I’m unavailable to cash it with my credit union along with the 25 dollars in fee they charged me for not using the account I am livid

Very convenient banking with excellent tellers. Was 5 stars before the hours changed to the same as most other banks. Previous hours were the reason I chose Woodforest, used to be open on Sundays.

They ignore my phone calls. I have been calling the Ebensburg branch every day for the past 5 days. I left a message on Friday and they still have not called me back. I just need to close my account, again. I signed papers to close my accounts, but two weeks later they were still open. So, I had new charges pending, I called customer support to get those charges rescinded. The last thing they told me was to call and have my accounts closed again. Ebensburg has not answered or called me back. I blame the manager.

My boyfriend and I have a joint account there and they always give him issues cashing checks ect when his name is also on the account! Same with me cashing personal checks from my grandmother that is in a wheelchair and no longer like to leave the house. She writes me checks to cash and get her what she needs throughout the week/month. Seems everytime I go there they have attitudes or there’s some type of issue. I also would give zero stars if it were an option.

Don't open your account here! My husband 401k check, his hard working money to save our home from public sale tax was held for a "7" day hold when in reality they meant 12. Even after being a customer for 12 years I've NEVER been so upset with woodforest as I am now. We lost our home because of the local branch manager . Corporate should be ashamed of themselves not helping the customers that been there longer than most. Especially since it was for such a dire situation during a pandemic. That proves that banks don't deserve our direct deposits and we should go back to cash only .

This place is an absolute joke. I received a cashiers check from there from a gentleman. So I tried to cash it the next day and it was declined at two nearby Walmart's. So then I went into this bank (which issued the check) and asked them to cash it for me. They told me they cannot because they don't have enough money there, but offered to open a checking account (which I would have had to pay for) and keep $100 in it to keep it open just for them to deposit it. The reason I had to be given the check in the first place is the gentlemen (who is a customer of this bank) who payed me was told by them they didn't have enough money then either. DO NOT BANK HERE. if on several occasions they can't even come up with a few thousand dollars how could you be comfortable with your money here? I thought cashiers checks were a secure way to get money, but obviously not from here! HEED MY WARNING. bank somewhere reputable.

I have had a bank account with this bank for 6 years and i have never had a problem, service is wonderful and the staff is very polite!
