I took my cat here, and the vet is awesome. All of our pets we have had throughout the years went here. This was always a great place, but I never reviewed stuff on google bc I'm lazy.

I called for an appointment for my pup. I was put on hold for 21 minutes, only to be told they do NOT accept new clients, except for surgery. They should have stated that during the messages about buying medications that they are not accepting clients so no one will wait for 21 minutes only to be told they do not accept new clients.

There has never been and there will never be another Dr. Takacs...and this review also includes Ebensburg animal hospital and their entire staff!! At Ebensburg animal hospital you get treated like family ..your pets are treated as if they were their own...they listen when you have an emergency and try to get you seen as soon as possible...and their services when you have to help a pet cross the rainbow bridge are top notch..they helped me thru some of hardest days of my life when I had to say goodbye to my best friends...so as long as they stay in business..I will never go anywhere else!! They are the BEST OF THE BEST!!! And I will be forever grateful for all of their help with all our fur babies over the last 10 years!!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! My dog recently went in for patella surgery. Dr Joel did a fabulous job! He was very thorough about the surgery during the consultation, and the day of surgery he called to let me know how everything went. It’s only been two weeks but I can tell my dog is in less pain and moves so much easier. Thank you, Dr Joel and team!

Great people, and it shows. All the staff is very friendly. Also, the vets know what they are talking about and helped out my dog with samples instead of making me buy the expensive medication. Good luck getting in cause a vet this good is hard to squeeze more patients in defiantly deserves a bigger place to work out of.

Guinea pig has an Ear infection and just needs ear drops, They are refusing new patients and wouldn't let me even schedule an appointment to have him seen just told me to call back another time.Cruel vet.
