I’ve been dealing with Penn Home health since 2019, when I needed oxygen for a while to recover from a COPD exacerbation. After a hospitalization in March unfortunately I am now oxygen 24/7. I ended up with a nebulizer to nebulize Albuterol & DuoMed, a big blue oxygen machine, that sits by my bed, and a brand new portable machine that has Bluetooth on it that connects with an app on my phone. And my insurance covers all this 100%. When I need new tubing or cannulas, they mail them to my house within two days. The girls in the office are great, definitely recommend to anyone.

They do not have "great people working there". I ordered cpap supplies and they sent me the wrong tubing. I tried to take it in to exchange it and was told no. I'd have to pay for the correct one out of pocket! It was their mistake and they want me to pay for it? I think not!!

I am having a problem with the Ebensburg office. I went in to pick up cpap supplies last week, and the lady gave me the wrong tubing. I didn't realize it until I got home. I went back two days later to exchange it, and I was told NO. They cannot give me the correct one unless I pay out of pocket. It was their mistake and they want me to pay for it?? Nope

At first, this company was AWESOME. They even offered to have large oxygen machines shipped to out of state places I was visiting!!!Now that I've been with them for 3 years or so, I've been treated in a disrespectful and rude manner. I was given an emergency tank to use and I used it while taking to the delivery driver who was there to collect the portable oxygen machine that fails me EVERY winter. Imagine pinching your nose closed and breathing out of a straw in your mouth, that's what it's like for me on a daily basis. I was scolded like a child for using my emergency tank. I didn't want to be rude and walk into another room while trying to talk to the driver, so I sat down and hooked onto the tank. At one point, the driver actually slammed a portable oxygen machine down onto my dining room table and said, "Well here, use this one then!" His temper raged to the point that I should have called the police. The replacement was also defective! That cost me a non-refundable round-trip flight to Minneapolis for Christmas because I had no oxygen machine and tanks would be impossible on a flight, while there and flight home. The driver said he had never been to an airport so he didn't know how I would manage oxygen for there or a trip. I was told it was very expensive for the company to deliver oxygen to me from their company location. Yet, I see their delivery vans in Somerset frequently, so I know i'm not their only customer. I'm told Medicare only pays the company for the first 3 years & no payment for the last 2 years. Perhaps that is the issue. I would think the company would charge enough in the first 3 years to cover the last 2 years. I will say, the driver was courteous to me when he delivered my repaired machine back to me. Proceed cautiously and ask lots of questions!

They have great people working here! I needed a nebulizer. Within a few hours they got my script for it from my Dr. And took care of the billing aspect of it through my insurance. Which I owed $0. They explained to me how to use the machine and at any time I could call them with any questions. I have delt with other medical supply companies and this was the best one #1 in the Ebensburg area that took care of all of my needs in a timely and friendly manner! Highly recommended!
