Went to get a flu shot on the weekend. Signed the paperwork and after 40 minutes someone finally came out and told us they couldn't enter the insurance card correctly and didn't have anyone that could fix it until Monday.

Giant eagle in Ebensburg has taking on tons of customers from several rite aide and do the best they can to handle the influx and are polite and do the best they can do with the staff they had before hand also they are in process of enlarging the pharmacy and hiring more staff to handle the overwhelming customers they inherited so cut them some slack till they get their pharmacy up to par.

If i could give them no stars i would. Rude staff and obviously don’t know what they are doing. That’s fine if they mess up a little but at least be nice about it.

told me my prenatals would be ready at 2 then calls me to tell me they are ready. i show up and he tells me half an hr. i come back later for them to tell me they are out of stock and they won’t have them until tomorrow at 3. LITERAL JOKE!

Husband just had spine surgery today, surgeon sent in medications and we received text notifications that they were ready to pick up. I go to pick them up, and was rudely told that they will not fill them and it has to be a different pharmacy. So now my husband is lying in severe pain, with no notice or communication given prior by giant eagle on the issue. Not the first issue we've had, but definitely the worst experience thus far. I'd sincerely recommend taking your prescriptions elsewhere cause they do not care.

Rite aid shut down an all my meds/information is In between worlds, been calling giant eagle pharmacy for 2 days now with no answer. They haven't even picked up!!!!!!!

Very friendly and staff glad to answer questions. They inform you if the meds may be late or, different colors or shapes due to different manufactures.

I like this store its small easy to get around if i had to make one suggestion it would be for a power wheelchair..keep up.the good work

Most rude people I have ever met. One time one lady YELLED at me to speak up. They disregard doctors notes left on the script so they dint have to order anything in and try to replace the meds with different ones. I have a copy of the script and it says "Brand specific" right on there. I have had to wait days for my meds because they can't or won't do as the scrip said. Recently when getting my meds I sent my fiance in to get them because I did not feel well, his mask broke and when he went to ask for another one before even getting one word out to the lady she rudely got an attitude with him and told him he had to leave and couldn't get the prescription without a mask. The lady made an assumption about him. I can't do this every time I'm getting meds. As an ex retail worker I understand having bad days buy this is every time I walk in. This is ridiculous
