My Dodge Ram had a misfire in cylinder 3. Was a lifter. I had already done the spark plugs and did a coil swap but the misfire never moved after clearing codes. The truck ran good even with the misfire but would run a little weaker in higher speeds. So I finally wanted to get it fixed and brought it down to T&D Automotive. Everyone was so nice from the woman at the front desk to every mechanic I spoke with. The first call I got back they told me I had a misfire in cylinder 3 and that it’s usually the spark plug and that we might as well change all 16 of them. So as he was pricing them for me I explained to him that I had already changed them all. His next question was what kind of spark plugs did you put in? I said NGK so then he said, then it must be the coil pack and it’s the same thing with the spark plugs if you’re gonna change one you might as well change them all because if not, they start going one by one. so he was pricing me for those andI explained, I did a coil swap with cylinder one and three, then cleared the codes. Drove around and after a few streets the code came back to cylinder three. Then I swapped the coil packs with four and three, drove around and the code and the light came back on. So then he said he had to look further into it . A couple of days later he calls me back telling me it’s a computer. I explained to him that I think it’s the lifter. He said the way his scanner was showing him that it’s reading to this computer for the truck. He said he would replace the part , and if it didn’t fix it, he wouldn’t charge me. Call me back a couple of days later and tells me the computer didn’t fix it. They’re gonna look into it more couple days later after they open the engine up they realize it’s a lifter. So they talked about fixing,it would be about four grand or putting a new engine in, It would be about nine grand might as well just get a new truck. So I said I’d rather pick up my truck and try another shop. I went to pick up my truck, and it was a completely different truck a whole bunch of lights and warning dings on the dashboard brake lights not working at all the whole ride the truck was shaking and a whole bunch of codes. I went in a couple days later and spoke with a mechanic, he says that because they opened up the engine And then had to put it back together, but of course it’s not gonna be the same way I brought it in. He said to bring it back and they’ll take a look at it, that maybe his mechanic forgot to replace or adjust some things. So I just wanna let other people know, even if they do not fix the original issue, you might still wound up with more issues than what you brought your vehicle in with. if you don’t believe me, look at some of the other reviews. I wish I would have looked at them.

The guys were nice and very knowledgeable regarding an issue with a bad fuel pump install. They repaired the issue and the pricing was extremely fair considering what I was quoted by the dealer. They even followed up to see how the vehicle running. They have my business for as long as I own a car. They rock!!!!

Newer to the area. Needed to get my vehicles inspection. Dropped off the vehicle's was called and told they where ready in a few hours. Super fast service and great service. If you need a garage to go to try these guys out. I will definitely be back.
