Do not trust this repair shop with your vehicle. I will not recommend this repair shop to anyone. I was lied to and ripped off for hundreds of dollars. Simply put, my transmission was going, yet I was told it was tire rod ends and ball bearings. I paid for the repairs, over $600.00, but still, the issues persisted. I went to another repair shop and had them run a diagnostic test. Paid $180.00. The service representative told me it was definitely the transmission and that I should promptly return to Superior and request a full refund. She added that any reputable shop would have instantly made the assessment of transmission failure. I called Superior back and informed them of their fraudulence. The woman attempted to pacify me by insisting that it was not a transmission issue that they had checked it, and they were sure it was not failing. At this point, the woman did tell me that " if " they found something wrong with the transmission, they would send me to another shop for the repairs and do a little something to help with the price. Then, she offered to recheck my vehicle again. So, I foolishly took my jeep back to them. This time, they told me it was a recall issue, and Jeep had done an update on all Jeep patriots. That all I needed was to have my transmission flashed to allow the update to be recognized. I then went to a Jeep dealership in Bangor, paid $91.00 for the flash service. They seemed confused and weren't sure I knew what I was talking about, but we're delighted to make some extra cash. After driving my vehicle for a couple of weeks, it seemed to be driving better. Order new spark plugs and some other tune-up essentials for $200.00. I thought my vehicle problems were fixed. However, my Jeep started to lose power. I took it back to Superior for the last time. I believed something had gotten into the spark plug port or that somehow I was given the wrong spark plugs. Superior had my vehicle for over a week before I called. When the same woman I had been dealing with the entire time got on the phone, she told me, " IT’S THE TRANSMISSION!" Then, after previously telling me that Superior did not fix transmissions, she offered to send me a quote for the repairs. NEARLY $ 4,000.00! I nearly lost it. Do NOT TRUST this repair shop!

I went to have the electric fan on my 2012 sonic checked and there were problems with the battery, they replaced the battery without first notifying me for a total of $240, an exorbitant price for changing a battery and they were charging me $600 to change the entire electric fan which only had two relays damaged. It really leaves a lot to be desired.

When we moved here, a neighbor recommended Superior Auto. That was great advice. They are easy to do business with. They listen, understand what you need, and take care of it. A Car Dealer said I needed a thousand dollars for "routine" maintenance, I took it to Superior. They saw none of it was necessary. They could have ripped me off but were honest. I trust them. Their prices are fair. I've never had any problems. My son now lives in NJ. He comes to Superior Auto for his repairs.

Service with a smile. After expensive recommendations from my Mazda dealership I came to Superior for a second opinion. They fixed what was needed and found some things recommended were not necessary. Saved me a ton of money. Very happy with the work done here. Highly recommend this business.

Found out about Superior Auto from 2 friends at work when I asked if anyone knew a good mechanic shop. They had glowing comments and Superior has fit that bill since 2 years ago... good people running it and great Mechanics who know what it’s about. A Woman at the desk who is warm and inviting to all. People come in just to visit. And I always see repeat customers . Quality all the way around…Totally recommend to others !

Superior auto is fantastic the father and daughter combination. they know they stuff, they welcome you with open hearts. I had a problem with my vehicle and they took care of me. I share with them the estimate for another AutoShop high price they bet the price with no problem saving me a lot of money.
