A few months ago I brought my F150 in to Koch 33 Ford due to failing cam phasers. I wrote a glowing 5 star review for the completed work, citing prompt friendly service. This still holds true, I appreciate the courteous service advisor and the prompt work completed by the service department.
But, I have to lower my rating based on my recent oil change.
The service technician performed an oil change as part of the cam phaser replacement. I’ve been changing oil on all of my vehicles for nearly 50 years, and I’ve done 8 oil changes on my F150 to date. I have never had and issues on any oil change, but the technician who performed the oil change either did not coat the gasket with oil or they tightened the filter well beyond what it should have been. It was nearly impossible to get off and the filter was crushed in the process.
In all my years of changing oil, I’ve never had this issue. It should be noted the work was done just a few months ago, and I’ve only put on just over 3,000 miles since the work was done.
Come on, guys, oil the gasket and the filter only requires 3/4-1 turn after the gasket touches the engine!
Additionally, the technician left a shop rag on the frame crossmember, just about an inch or so from the serpentine belt. If the rag had caught up in the belt it could have left me stranded.
Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy!
For this reason, my previous 5 star review has been dropped to a 3 star review.

They are the absolute worst place to bring your vehicle for service. Brought a 2023 ford f150 tremor brand new. Since day one my alignment was slightly off so obviously that should be covered with under warranty. With a whole bunch of hassle from my gas money and my time away from work it took 4 tries to get it right. The second experience which why I gave them a second chance is beyond me now. Lastly on the 15k service about a week ago it says nothing about alignments being performed or recommended. Don’t you know my alignment is off the truck drive horribly as well as for one of the items recommended was a/c service that I had a disgusting smell coming from my vents. Called these people 3 separate times asking to speak with a service manager they took a message each time and still haven’t gotten a call back don’t know how they can be in business when this is the experience they provide their customers don’t buy a ford and do not give Koch 33 your business as they can careless after the bill is payed

I will start with the fact that the company i worked for purchased Ford Escapes and I always brought them to Koch for service. I have bought 3 cars from Koch of my own. The first one got totaled 2 months after I purchased it.The 2nd one was a lemon. When it needed an engine, thank God I purchased the extended warranty and it only cost $100. BUT due to distribution delays from Covid-19 it took 33 days to be delivered and completed. The extended coverage only allowed 10 days of a rental. I had to pay for 23 days which cost $1100+ and I rented from Koch. That led to the tranmission having issues and the warranty was up.i purchased a 3rd vehicle from Koch which has had a water pump issue. It was covered. I am from NJ and we have front plates. The 3rd car I purchased didn't have a front license plate bracket. They offered to put it on for free but I had to purchase the bracket. $67. REALLY, All the business I have brought you and you won't give me a bracket. I overlooked a lot. That put me over the edge. It would have been a minor gesture that would have meant a lot to me. I'm due for an oil change. I'm not going back.
I know it may sounds petty but I let a lot go by.

Yesterday, at approximately 6:30 pm, I completed the purchase of a vehicle. During the transaction, I was advised that the vehicle required new tires and detailing, and was scheduled to be ready for pickup today, June 13th, 2024, at 2:00 pm. However, upon arrival, I was notified of an unexpected delay due to an additional inspection requirement, resulting in an estimated delay of 45 minutes. Regrettably, despite the initial reassurance, it has now been two hours, with an additional wait time of 20-30 minutes communicated to me. This experience has left me with reservations about future transactions with this establishment. It’s clear they lack organization and professionalism. The sales manager exhibited a lack of professionalism by being discourteous, uninformative, and unaccommodating.

As someone who’s had prior experience in the auto sales industry there are very few salesmen as genuine as Gabe Sanchez. Prior to even pitching product or numbers he took the time to make sure we were comfortable, at ease, and on a vehicle that we like. Front desk staff is super sweet too. The General Manager George Martinez is also very swift to address any concern a client has and he presents a very hand-on approach where so many I’ve seen operate in the back with little to no interaction with clientele. They made an excellent team to help us get on the road in a BEAUTIFUL, reliable, and safe Ford Bronco Sport. They helped us lower our monthly payment, on a much more fuel efficient vehicle, and cheaper insurance! It’s a shame to hear Mr. Sanchez’s hopes to retire soon, so you better buy from him quick while you still have the opportunity!!!

Purchased an F450 mason dump 2023 it didn’t suit my needs. I took it back to trade it for a pick up truck. I paid 72,000 for the 450 and they offered me $50,000 for it and would only take $1000 off the sticker of their pick up truck, so that means is I lost $20,000 on the F450 less than a year. Wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone very poor business practices.

My brother bought this vehicle 4 weeks ago and suddenly died two weeks later. They are making his wife take a $3800.00 loss as she returned the car. Our family has bought 6 cars here over the years. What an awful shame that they did not see the value of this customer. We will never buy our recommend anyone to buy anything from here ever again.

Do yourselves a favor and STAY AWAY from Koch 33 Ford! They are a bunch of crooks! We bought my husband’s truck less than 2 years ago and he has been complaining about the transmission practically from the start. They will sell you a VERY EXPENSIVE extended warranty and when you bring the problem to them, they can’t find anything until AFTER the warranty has expired. They then tell you that “there’s nothing they can do - call Ford yourself” even though their records CLEARLY state that there was an issue MULTIPLE TIMES! They even lied and said they reached out to Ford on his behalf but when we call Ford they have no record of it. Do yourselves a favor and stay away! Do not recommend this shady company to anyone!!! Oh and PS - they charged us a $200 diagnostic fee for something we already diagnosed months ago!!! It also should be noted that my husband is a certified Ford Technician so he knows a transmission issue when he hears and feels one.

I was in looking at a truck and after the test drive some of the sales reps was using inappropriate language and horsing around on the sales floor. I tried to reach out to a sales manager today about the incident and my call was declined.

BEWARE!!!!!...DO NOT SHOP AT KOCH 33 FORD!!!! (SOLD ME A TRUCK WITHOUT A CATALYTIC CONVERTER)
I Purchased a truck from Khoch33 1 year ago...my inspection was up so i took it in to have the oil changed and inspection. i got a call telling me it failed inspection due to the exhaust being straight through to the rear with no catalytic converter. There has never been an engine light on or anything of the such. i do not know if they had permanently blocked the check engine light or not. i have done no modifications to the truck since i bought it, and when i told them they just proceeded to show me the as is contract i signed when i did not buy the warranty. Khoch 33 ford sold me the truck after they had it in the shop and knew it did not have the catalytic converter nor would it pass inspection WITH NO VERBAL MENTION OF THE ISSUE . They INTENTIONALLY deceived me with no VERBAL mention of the issue or even a hint of any issue with the vehicle. They have also had the truck for all oil changes and maintenance and have never mentioned any issue with the vehicle... DO NOT SHOP KOCH 33 FORD...

I recently purchased a second car from Koch 33 Ford and my experience as it was the first time was amazing. From the minute we walked in until getting the keys was exceptional. They were Pleasant filled with smiles and every question was answered. I highly recommend them. And I will go back if we need another car.
Every department was respectful.
