I cannot recommend the folks at Klair Kennels more enthusiastically. I am a volunteer transport coordinator who asked for their help in boarding one of our dogs when we had to interrupt a transport from NY to Louisiana. They have been so kind and absolutely wonderful to work with. Just the kind of folks you want caring for your animal when you can't! 5 stars is not enough!! :)

I took my dog Eddie (Boxer dog, 75 lbs.) to be boarded overnight; it was the first time that we've boarded him. I made the appointment over the phone the week prior without any trouble. On drop-off day, I wasn't back in the inside kennel area at all, but the front lobby was clean, organized and didn't have any smell other than what you would normally associate from a facility that houses multiple canines at a time (i.e. smelled like "dog", not urine or feces). The kennel runs appear to be indoor/outdoor (caged outdoor portion visible from outside of the building), and appears adequately sized to house most small to large breeds. The staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful (answered questions, listened carefully to my description of Eddie's temperament, genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing in their interactions with the other animals already there, etc.). Overall, I felt comfortable leaving Eddie there. Upon picking Eddie up the following day, he didn't appear any worse for wear, physically or emotionally. He even ran over to "say goodbye" to a couple of the staff members before we left. He reacclimated seamlessly once he got home.The pricing was very competitive, and no payment was required up front (only proof of up-to-date rabies and distemper shots upon drop off). I also noted that they also provide grooming services.Overall, the feeling at Klair Kennels is that they treat your dog like they would their own, so I would definitely recommend based on my experience with them.

Left our female Dobie there for 12 days while on vacation, went to pick her up n the fellow asked me if she had ever been kenneled b4 my answer was yes, he informed me that she was barking all the time, ripped up her bed, urinated everywhere, and had extreme diareah, when she was brought out she was almost emaciated, she lost 10 lbs, in biz since 1967 the card says n they do not know how to treat a stomach virus that was defenelity caught at their place, if I would have stayed away 2 more days I woul have had a dead dog she was shaking trying to tell me the horrors she went through if they could talk, but they can not....

I was picking up my cousins dog. He looked happy. Everyone called him by his name and handled him with care. He was not hungry or thirsty, like dogs given CBDs. I look forward to having them watch my dog. I will report back when I do. I was very happy to screen a possible rescue. My puppy would really love a friend/brother, and I love dogs ❤️❤️

Clean, easy to get to, the lady who owns the place is kind and friendly. My dogs had so much fun; came home exhausted.....they must have played day and night. LOL

Our regular boarder was booked the night we needed them. We were looking for a place to board our dog on our way to Allentown. We came across Klair Kennels. Booking the night was easy. We dropped our puppy off and picked him up with no problems. The employees were friendly, and our dog was well taken care of for the night.
