Finding a dress shop that would restore my grandmother's wedding dress was proving difficult. No one wanted to touch a silk lace dress from the 50s - so when I found Deborah it was a blessing. My dress had holes and the color had not stood the test of time, so what Deborah and her wonderful team were able to do was a work of magic! It meant everything to me to walk down the aisle in a family heirloom. I cannot thank them enough!

The first wedding shop I walked into with my grandmother's dress said that they wouldn't touch it just given the age & material of it. They recommended I find a specialist in antique dress restoration. The color of the silk dress had not stood the test of time and it had numerous holes in the lace, so there was no way I could wear it without someone's help. Thankfully I found Deborah through an online search for "antique dress restoration" as it turned out she had restored a dress that was 120 years old. It took a number of appointments to cover all the details, but it was fully worth it to walk down the aisle in the dress my mother and grandmother wore. I am so thankful to the team there for all of their efforts.

When visiting with Deborah at her salon, whether for an original design or a modificaton to "something borrowed or something new," the appointed time for the client is truly personal provided with utmost class and quality.

I needed an online ordered camouflage cocktail dress altered as it was too big when it arrived to me. Not being originally from around here, I googled a seamstress for my area, and Designs by Deborah caught my eye. There were great reviews, so I didn't even hesitate to call her. She got me in the very next day to assess my dress and fit situation. Three days later, the dress was perfect. Absolutely speedy turn around. I couldn't thank her enough for her warm welcoming hospitality and wonderfully brilliant ideas and suggestions right from the start. I would highly recommend "Designs by Deborah" to anyone. She made my week for sure!!! Can't wait to be unique wearing my now well fitting camo dress. Thank you so much!!!
