Staff volunteers are nice. But trying to get help and someone to call you back is horrible. It's supposed to be a place you can get help when needed. Very dismissive. I personally had to ask the volunteer to allow me to go to the back to physically speak to someone

I am appalled with this place. The rooms are freezing the showers were cold. I heard someone named lopez who works there is sleeping with a resident. Someone I am very close to was staying there and 2 separate occasions residents keyed our car including a brand new 24 VW. The staff did NOTHING about it wouldn't look at the camera nothing. He asked about it and in turn they terminated him. I am sick with how they handled this!!!

Horrible, Horrible people. Back stabbers. They SMILE at you, and ACT like their your friends. Than lie, just to get rid of you, to get someone else in the shelter. They told me to get out, with out any notice. I live on the streets for a month. I almost committed suicide.How about Marialina Blado. The whole staff is totally soulless. Call the Stroud police for proofYour all WORTHLESS.

I’m so tired of writing these reviews cause it seems to fall on deaf ears I’ve reported the Salvation Army on Swede Street in Norristown. And now I hear that they shipped people there because they closed down only to put them out if you’re not from around a certain area why would you throw someone out in the streets. No names will be mentioned but I thought your there to help the homeless not to kick them when there down seems like your just there for a paycheck they need to evaluate the Norristown office and east stroudsburg oh forgot norristown is close because of poor leadership and this is supposed to a church base shelter wow I remember too I was put out in the middle of the night by the pastor Mr.Bartin At Norristown Salvation Army Swede Street all because I reported him

An appeal to this place began as there are openings every week, call back in a few days. After a few days the same person told me that there was a 60 person waiting list. Their food bank seemed to work out for someone else I knew.
