No one here at this pharmacy is personable. I stopped going here after they gave me the wrong prescription for my son. Definitely won't be back.

I have been a Shady Maple customer for years. The market is fine and have been shopping there exclusively since the onset of COVID restrictions. That said, on our way into the store on a Saturday afternoon we stopped at the Snack Shack. We were extremely disappointed. We ordered nothing special, a “2 hotdog, salad, small drink, and chocolate chip cookie” meal, another hotdog, and a soda. I foolishly thought a “salad” would involve some form of leafy green. I was wrong. It was a mayonnaise covered elbow pasta, which was bad enough, but it also contained some form of relish (?) making it a sweet mayonnaise dish. Not what I consider salad. The hot dogs were flat out cold. All three. We returned these and were give three new ones with the same result. Although taken right off the roller grill, they were cold. There was no marking on them to give the impression they had spent any time on the grill. I can only assume the hotdogs were just put on the rollers and immediately taken off or the rollers were never hot to begin with. The hotdogs, “salad”, and sugar water drink all went into the trach. A waste of $8.50. In the future I will skip the food and stick to getting a pretzel.

The items that they sell here are so fresh and worth purchasing. You will not be disappointed. I purchased donuts and pretzels. You could tell by the packaging alone that the items are made with love. And what I like most is that everything is made locally.

We wondered over after eating lunch at Shady Maple and were impressed with the operation. The store itself is huge with an incredible selection in category after category. We were glad we had just eaten lunch, because we could have bought just about everything in that dessert case. They have a garden center outside and were grilling food in the parking lot near the entrance. Beautiful produce and meats selections. Worth a stop. but don't go hungry.

Loved the experience of shopping at this destination type store while we were camping nearby. The selection of products was amazing and the prices were very good, especially on meats, cheese, deli and produce. They have some unique local products as well as everyday staples. This is the type of store worth traveling out of your way to visit. Next time we will bring a larger cooler to pack more for our ride home.

Wow! The Shady Maple Farm Market is huge. Many of the products are grown and/or made locally. They have a large selection of gluten-free product as well. Pick up some fresh donuts at the bakery. I come here especially for their apple butter.

This is a wonderful "one stop shop" to get anything you want. We stopped in to buy produce. Peaches were amazing. Huge and ripe. The meats looked very nice as well. Plenty of homemade goods to buy. This would be a perfect stop for anyone renting a house for a period of time. If we did an Air BnB, this would be our first stop.

I love doing grocery shopping here when ever we are in the area. The meat department has a great variety of cuts of meat. They are also helpful with recipes. I love all the choices in the Deli Department. I find many unusual things that we do not see in other grocery stores. Well worth the trip if you are in the area. Just do not go in with an empty stomach or you will surely over buy.

Shady Maple is fantastic. Terrific local produce. Their bakery is great with to die for donuts...Love their white cake with coconut icing. Yummy. Are you a pudding fan? They have about 20 different kinds. Nice gluten free section and wonderful butcher. Try their bacon. I just wish they were open Sundays...but you can't have everything.

We were staying in Churchtown in a self catering cottage. The Shady Maple was recommended for our needs. Contrary to other reviews the are sanitizing station at the entrance and social distancing sign and masks are required for entrance. We enjoyed the incredible variety of ready to eat items and the regular shopping items. It was a nice shopping experience.

I've been coming to Shady Maple to grocery shop for as long as I can remember. It used to be super tiny and has grown tremendously over the years. I love this place and you can't beat the price on produce. I'm pretty sure it's run by the Mennonite and most of the produce comes from local Lancaster farms. They have so many options and you are sure to find any sort of produce you need. You have to weigh all your produce which is different compared to most grocery stores. The bakery is incredible with the best donuts around. They must have over 50 different kinds and they sure don't skimp on the filling in the filled donuts. The Whoopie pies, breads, pies, cakes and every other baked food we've had from there have all been delicious. Hands down the best grocery store and worth the drive. People come from all over to check out this place. Don't be surprised by the horse and biggies parked outside and fellow Amish getting their groceries. Makes for a great experience!

Good prices for fruits and vegetables ... Not open on Sundays. Donuts were a little stale but that's probably why they were half off
