When this Dollar General opened up it was GREAT. But all of the old crew quit because of lack of pay even the managers don’t get paid well for what they have to do. Most of the time one person is trying to do everything and no other person is there to help. Now that this new crew is in there . Nothing is stocked. Most of the cashiers are rude . They already have Christmas stuff out but no vitamins, cereal etc. and also the registers won’t take cards to pay for your items. If you pay your employees better you will get better help! Customers should not have to wait 10/15 minutes to pay for your items because the cashier is so slow. Standing there listening to them talk about how bad they hate their job! Get it together Dollar General!!! Pay more!!! And you will get better help!!

I enjoy this dollar store it’s close to my home, although last time I went it was 7/22/24 we had a cashier lady by the name of Samantha and she wasn’t the nicest. She thought I was going to be using a card and when I told her I was using cash she became all grumpy and was mumbling cuss words under her breath. (Keep in mind i’m a teenager and am learning to use my card responsibly and not for little purchases, therefore I use cash.) My mom had the same problem with her becoming grumpy and rude.

The dollar store in New Holland is small and there is never enough help which is stupid that store needs to get it together

While the prices are fair (not the best, certainly not the worst) and the people are friendly, unfortunately there is never anyone at the registers. A simple fix is a $5 bell at the counter, but they refuse to do that. Thus, I won't be shopping here anymore.

Very nice, new Dollar General Store.Extremely clean and well stocked. WONDERFUL staff, ESPECIALLY Aja, the LOVELY EXTREMELY HELPFUL Young Lady. Returned here today to bring something to Aja, the Lovely Young Lady that works here and her Mom May. She had left. I was sitting I'm the public lot eating my lunch when the older female comes our and says I have to leave because she feels uncomfortable.REALLY ? I fought for this County And will eart in an open parking lot if I want.
