A friend located nearby recommended Scintilla Auto because she had received excellent concern and care of her automobile on several occasions. I'm glad I went to Scintilla Auto, not only because I've always enjoyed excellent results; also because I am charged much less than my previous auto repair shop. On several occasions I have asked if I need to replace a specific part. The first time I asked, I was astonished by Rob Scintilla's reply: "No." Rob only recommends a replacement or service when it is necessary for safety or preventing a devastating breakdown. That's quite a tale the negative review tells. It's not the Rob Scintilla I know. Before you decide not to go to Scintilla based one bad review, I suggest you contact Rob Scintilla for his side of the story.

Had my timing belt changed over a year ago. The engine blew 3 weeks ago. The UNNAMED dealership informed me that during the belt change they did not use the synthetic oil when they did the job. This car requires synthetic oil. Also the car wasn't right after waiting three weeks to get the car back. I would not recommend anyone to bring their car there for ANY repair. Also must have used aftermarket parts.
