“Excellent care my dog was very ill and old Dr Keith Dorton and Dr Kyle Dorton and Maria are very caring kind compassionate people, my tucker relieved Excellent care and tucker loved them, the day he was euthanized at 19 years.old, I never seen so much kindness and compassion from the entire staff and Kyle was the Vet who tended to him he was very gently and mourned right along with us, we were given privacy with Tucker before and after, I would highly recommend scranton animal hospital to anyone, prices are reasonable bit what matters to me and is the most important is there kindness and compassion.”
“I just had my cat Nyla taken for a procedure today. Currently she is a little shaken up scared but she is eating well. I need to thank from the bottom of my heart Dr. holly earyes. She is a gift from God and your facility needs to thank the heaven above that she is your main Dr. I was a nervous wreck knowing our baby was going for surgery but the expertise holly posses her care for animals..she truly is a gift. I couldn't have been more comforted and pleased with how the staff was. The vet and gentleman who saw my Charlie were kind, comforting and I couldn't have been more grateful during one of the most difficult days of my life.

“First off, my dog, Susie, rated her first visit here a 10/10 and had 0 post vet anxiety. This place is worth the 35-minute drive for me. Honestly, I'd drive an hour or more. It's absolutely incredible; the reception area is spaced out and clean, the staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable, and it's actually affordable. I came from another vet that quoted me almost $1200 for spay and micro chipping, with the blood work being an extra $182. I got an estimate after my first visit last week, and it's less than half of that. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else!”
“Dr Manning and her staff are the best around. They were always so patient with my dogs and believe me they could be bold sometimes. I unfortunately had to put two dogs down with Dr Manning. One from old age and one from a very unexpected illness. Dr Manning and her staff were so patient and understanding from beginning to end both times. They gave me all the time I needed to grieve the loss of my best friends. I will always feel grateful for the love they showed during two of the worst days of my life, and the card they send afterwards was so thoghtful and sweet. I know we will eventually rescue another dog and I will never go anywhere else for his/her care.”
“Love this vet and her office people. You can tell their animal people. The care and gentleness with which they handle your pets. The questions they ask. She's also slightly cheaper than most vets. She is willing to give you a discount if you bring in 2 pets at the same time. Which is good because many pet owners have more than one. And any savings helps us keep our pets instead of having to turn them into a shelter for lack of funds to care for them. Photos are from when we lost a pet. This is all the things they give you to help you process your grief. They were also superbly kind in the office.”

“I really appreciated the sincerity and transparency from the staff here. They even texted me before my appt to show their concern for the situation and took us early as it was considered emergent. I loved that they had respect for life and soul of the stray cat that had a botched surgery to spay her at some other facility which ultimately killed her. RIP skinny bones ?❤️??”
