I only give extra star because there are good employees there that do their job correctly and don't behave mean. I had a mail lady at January 17, 2024 put all mail for my neighbors into my box. If you got issues with reading the names on boxes, maybe you should try to go to high school again or go to work at warehouse and feel what real hard jobs feel like.Also, at the counter some days I encounter rude employees, again not all of them but the grey hair lady definitely thinking that everything revolves around her and very rude. Cool approach 10/10. Federal facility, feels more like a circus.

Worst post office branch I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They incorrectly deliver mail, most days they never deliver the mail at all. Looking to report the branch up the chain as soon as possible. Despicable use of tax dollars in Dunmore PA.

This location discriminates against eBay sellers!!! On October 11th I had a cassette tape sell on my ebay store and wanted to ship it out.I went to this location and the woman who waited on me ignored me when I said I would like to ship this media mail and tried to get me to send it priority to which I said no,then she got rude and told me that media mail is subject to inspection to which I said fine.Then she even asks me what was in it! I said a cassette tape and she ignored me again.Come 3 days later my buyer is asking me where their purchase is and the tracking says return to sender? I finally get the cassette back yesterday only to find the package ripped open with a note that says trading cards are not media mail? So stear clear of this location that woman will lie and discriminate against you and say your cassette tapes are trading cards

DO NOT ship anything fragile from this location. I had an expensive handmade ceramic mug to ship out and had FRAGILE written on the package. I was up in the Scranton area, so to save time I came to the Dunmore location. So after the counter person scanned it in and gave me my receipt, I heard her toss it into the metal mail cart like it was something to be tossed in the trash can. I came back to the counter and asked for my package back. Taking it down to Pittston where I normally go.I did package the item well, but that's not the point.

I had a very bad experience, after 14 days my documents are still not traced , they are very negligent and poor response .Customer service and Manager both say they are not responsible for any courier lost . They dont help you in finding the document too , please avoid if your sending very important document with them .

Worst becauseI have purchased money order $103 and 2 priority mail .. 1 for shipping to NY and 1 paid Returned envelope from this usps locationFor getting Visa from Indian embassy after 1 week they dont know why my package is still in PA and moving from one facility to other twice. When I went to post office they said they can't do anything .. no one is their to help me on 1-800 ask usps, really this the service you are proving to your customers... I'm stuck now who gonna be responsible for $1200 tickets and Trusting on USPS is a big question mark..Thank you so much for amazing experience and for making me down on my knees, Helpless and getting panic attacks for my medical emergency trip and for my Trust on you.
