“I love this pharmacy it’s not like Rite Aid and you feel like you’re a part of the family. I like See-Right Pharmacy in particular because when I walk in, they know me right away and get my medicines promptly. They are quick and accurate with a very friendly helpful staff. If I ever do have a problem, they are quick to fix the issue and get my medications to me.”
“The nicest Weiss I've been in. Very good deals, good options. A little more expensive than the Giant across the street in some areas, but less in others - worth checking out.”
“Im new to the area and have stopped in the Millersburg Weis a few times for groceries. Had the pleasure of meeting a cashier by the name of Deborah who was handling two large orders before me like a pro. When it was my turn to check out I complimented her and she informed me that she was new to the job and thanked me for my compliment. Great personality as well as very efficient worker.”
“I'm newer to Weis, as it is a bit further out of my way. So far, the store has been clean every time I've visited. They have a good selection of items and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. I did encounter my first issue last night. At the self-checkout, I discovered that I can't weigh/scan/enter my own produce like at the competition's self-check out. The store was not particularly busy so I scanned all of the other items while I waited around for a staff member. I continued to wait for quite a while and no one ever showed up. I ended up having to leave without the produce I needed, and just went to the competitor to get those items. This won't deter me from shopping at Weis, but it was certainly disappointing.”
“I always have a fantastic experience here! I’m telling everyone I know to come here because everyone that works here is so nice! They’re always on the ball, they deliver when I need it and there is always open and honest communication on both ends! Best pharmacy I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot since there was a shortage on 2 of my medications!”
“Keep asking me for ID for cigarettes. Im 52 and dont look 30. I know its their job and all but its annoying as hell especially considering how expensive they are!!”
“I went to this pharmacy with a prescription that Rite Aid couldn't fill. They figured out the the prescription was written incorrectly and called the doctor to get it corrected. Filled the prescription for me. Wonderful experience.”
“We've gotten all of COVID shots here! He has such a wonderful personality. He really is a kind man. He assured us it wouldn't hurt and it didn't! We'll definitely keep going here for our shots.”
“Today was my first experience with this pharmacy and I must say, it was amazing!! I’ve always used CVS and continue to be frustrated. A friend recommended trying a local pharmacy and today after not being able to get a human on the phone at CVS and a terrible experience when I went by there to ask the question I couldn’t get thru on the phone I decided I had finally had it with CVS. Called Harrisburg Hometown Pharmacy and to my surprise a HUMAN answered and a very kind one at that!! They went above and beyond to help me after I explained my situation. All I was trying to do was get my daughter’s antibiotic. They were amazing and took such good care of us! The pharmacist even personally called me when the prescription was ready. You just don't get service like this from the chains. So, I’m all in on Harrisburg Hometown Pharmacy! If you’re frustrated with your pharmacy experience, make the switch! You won’t be disappointed!!”
“I use PinnacleHealth Connections RX all the time because the staff is so knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They have that hometown feel in a larger city. Each time I go in, I am greeted by a smiling face and a willingness to help find everything I need. Each person is treated like a long time friend and not just a "customer."”
“Thank you mark for being so professional and courteous. Helping me with my equipment that I got from your pharmacy it is so rare now days to find people in the customer service like you.”
“I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to have found a pharmacy that wants to know you as a person. The box stores rarely even look up to recognize you as a person. They have big business watching their numbers, etc... that's the difference. Highly recommend this shop unless you like the big busy-ness.... well done and thank you...”
“A little slow most of the time and they put stuff back after a certain amount of days which I find to be a pain in the butt but I also understand that everyone else needs their medicine too, however if someone else doesn’t need the medicine then why put it back? Otherwise they’re easy to work with and talk to. I also understand that they need to fill prescriptions while also dealing with the line of people who are picking up there prescriptions so how are they supposed to get it all done? I understand that as well. There could be more than 2 or 3 pharmacists and techs they need another pharmacist working the same time help take the load off.”

“Barbara was my counter associate. She was a gem! We had a brief conversation about my cats and she shared her personal experience about a donation to the less fortunate. I appreciated more than just "small talk" that usually happens at the checkout counter. She deserves a gold star!!
Despite the loud, heated (unprofessional) discussion that occurred in the pharmacy area, this store remains one of my favorites! Keep up the good work. ??”
“Typical drug store. We were in town visiting relatives and needed a prescription filled so we went here. Didn't take long to get the prescription and payment was easy.”

“The pharmacists and staff are so caring! I transferred from CVS because I use GoodRX and Weis Pharmacy has the best prices in the area. Very happy I transferred. The grocery store is also great and convenient.”

“They were understanding, kind, and adaptable when my doctor failed to verify my pharmacy after already transferring, which had unnecessarily prolonged and complicated the process.”
“I’ve always had a great experience when contacting the PA Board of Pharmacy. It’s always been easy to get ahold of them and the people I talk to are always helpful in answering my questions. I’ve had to deal with other BOP’s and PA is one to the better ones to deal with.”

“Conveniently located, with access from Market St. And from inside Strawberry Square. Self checkout is a plus. The selection is not as much. Most shelves have barely anything. Maybe they are changing stuff up. It was a fast-paced atmosphere, and I had zero human contact, which could be a positive or a negative, depending on your point of view. They have cold grocery items, and that's fully stocked. Overall, it was a positive experience. It's in a great location!”

“Possiblity they are closing this store soon. Either that or the shelves were just poorly stocked.
I hope not as this is the store I prefer to shop while Rite Aid still exists.”
“I am actually rating one particular employee who has worked at this Rite Aid for many years. Her name is Shannon. Shannon is absolutely amazing! No matter how bad everything else gets at this location (and believe me, they go through some spells where it's a mess but they also have spells where they are doing better) I know if I ask for Shannon, she is going to either know how to get things done or she will go far above the call of duty to figure out how to do it. I have been battling a vicious autoimmune disease for almost half my life so my local pharmacy is an imperative part of my healthcare. As I'm sure many people know, our health insurance companies are not our friends and they try to get out of paying for as much as they think they can get away with. Shannon has helped me so many times with getting medications approved. She always has a smile for you even when they have a line that goes all the way to the front of the store. I really hope that Rite Aid corporate office sees this review and rewards Shannon for her many years of hard work and dedication to not only rite Aid but to her customers.Note:Many people do not realize that they can appeal a decision to not cover something by their insurance company. Now you do. Never take no for an answer because that is what they are hoping you will do. At least 75% of the time I have been able to get things covered in an appeal. You just have to be willing to jump through their hoops and stay on their case. thank you Shannon for being so amazing. We all have the ability to be amazing but many are not willing to put the effort towards it. Shannon is.”
