I cannot recommend this place enough!! I was on a trip across the state when my car started overheating. I stopped for the night (Sunday) and decided to call around shops in the morning (Monday)
I spoke with Diane on the phone at 8am, and they were able to fit me in at 9am. Mike went right to work on my car, and figured out what was wrong. The place that had serviced my car not even a week prior incorrectly placed a clamp causing my coolant to leak. He was able to place a new clamp, and traded the (wrong) kind of coolant I had bought for the proper kind instead of charging me to put any in. They had me in an out in an hour and charged me a very modest price for their time. Diane was an absolute pleasure to chat with while Mike was working on my car. They have a beautiful family and run an honest business!

Very professional. Concerned about your "car" issue, takes time, check all, and goes over, with you, what you need to repair issue, before, doing job. Reasonable prices, great service, and friendly. I like that they genuinely CARE about you. Thank You C.A.R. !!!

I took my vehicle here for a routine oil change, I noticed shortly after that oil was leaking out of my vehicle. I took it back to Carlsons garage where they ensured they would fix the issue, then informed me that they didn’t believe it was leaking. After another week and a half of seeing oil spillage out of my vehicle and a burning smell everytime I got out of my vehicle I took it to another garage where they informed me my oil was actively leaking and fixed the issue for me. I wouldn’t recommend this garage due to the fact they couldn’t fix the mistake they made.

I wouldn’t recommend any type of repair work here. I’ve taken my vehicle there twice for the same issue, they told me I needed a new transmission and new tires. I actually needed front control arms, ball joints, and back struts.

I was in a tough spot when my car broke down on route 80 while picking my son up from college in Michigan, Carlson's Auto Repair truly went above and beyond to help me get out of a very difficult situation. Despite being incredibly busy, they went out of their way to make a complete stranger's car a priority. This was definitely something they did not have to do. They also could have charged me whatever they wanted and I still would have been thrilled to get my car up and running by the time they completed it. When I got the bill I was in complete shock with how affordable it was and so appreciative they did not take advantage of a situation where I was desperate for help. They easily could have charged me hundreds of more dollars for this work and could not have been more kind and helpful. THANK YOU!!
