“My husband and I first went to Carmen's Country Inn and Gardens 2 years ago after getting engaged - it was the first venue we looked at and immediately fell in love. We didn't view any other venues because we knew it would be a waste of time - this place is perfect. The grounds are stunning and the inside of the venue is so lovely.

With this venue they offer so many services in one package - all we needed was to hire a DJ and a photographer. They cater their own food (they own a lovely deli/bakery in hazleton), made our wedding cake (which was absolutely amazing), and offered bar service. Everything is already so beautiful that we really only needed to have centerpieces and table numbers, no other decor needed.

Cathy was INCREDIBLE. I cannot say enough fantastic things about her. She is so kind, detail oriented, organized, flexible, and she clearly takes a lot of pride in her job. She was in constant communication with me during the planning process and answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly. During the rehearsal she took care to ensure we were all prepared and ready for the ceremony. When I made a mistake and had mixed up seating arrangements she was so kind and just immediately went into "no problem at all - let's fix it!" mode. During the day of the wedding she took time to fix the little details that we had missed (like find and set up our champagne glasses and turn on the lanterns for our center pieces).

The staff, the bartender, and the servers at the venue were so kind and attentive to us and all of our guests as well!

I can honestly say that our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I am so grateful to Cathy and all her staff for making it so.”

“So this is late, our wedding was September 9, 2023. Elaine is absolutely AMAZING! She is so patient, so kind, so loving, we can’t say enough great things about her and the staff at Edgewood. Our wedding day did not go 100% as planned but they made it so smooth and stress free. The staff is so respectful, every single person I spoke to was so polite and asked if we (bride, groom and party) needed anything. The venue is breathtaking! The venue is a blank canvas but you/they can decorate it however you want. The food was AMAZING! Our cake/cupcakes were delicious! The s’more bar was a huge hit. Oh! If it is in your budget get the mashed potato bar! Our guests LOVED it. I could sit here and go on and on about how much we loved Elaine and the whole staff! We HIGHLY recommend this venue for any event.”

“Extremely positive. They obviously are a family oriented group and that makes a difference for the children. Just a fun place for corn mazes, hay rides, birthday parties etc.”

“This was unexpected off the beaten path stop for me. I was so tired from driving and I didn’t know where I was going to be able to stay and it was getting darker. I like my car and do not want to hit a deer.
Aside of front desk staff who seemed annoyed, This was a suffice place to go.
It is very clean. It is nice with the basics.
The view was so nice too.
I usually stay at Hilton hotels Hampton Inn or Fairfield. This was a nice change. The beds were comfortable and like I said everything was very clean. Whoever you have cleaning here keep and give them a big raise!!!!

wasn’t exactly friendly but I had just been swimming with my granddaughter all day long and probably looked pretty disheveled and messy. It was ok enough for a quick stay and thank you so much. I am really happy, I discovered this place along the way of travel! I would’ve loved to have information about the property and information about the restaurant. Maybe it’s closed down. I don’t know.
Going down to the third floor- the hallways kind of freaked me out, but it all turned out OK, just have to get your bearings when you are landing somewhere in the dark in the evening from a long day.

Rooms: Clean!! Give your Housekeeping a big raise and kudos because they know how to clean and there are so many places that they do not know how to clean
the next morning was pretty loud in the lobby but the night I landed there it was pretty quiet
dogs are allowed here and I met a nice one in the lobby when I was checking in.”
